Where is Dbanj on the list?
Modified; The guy below is an epitome of a Zombic fan
Well dbanj is about to release a new song wt Tiwa savage next week. We are waiting on it.

Besides dbanj and psquare are legends. Hit after hit after hit for years. They can't be on this kind of list. Please look at the names on the list again.

Great piece.
Well written.
Reminds me of my blogging days.
Usually, there's reason behinds an artists silence.
There's a myriad possible reasons.

Could be record label and contract issue. Nigeria's music structure needs a Julius berger overhauling.
Could be writer's block. Sometimes artists needs muse. Either a new crush, new hobby, new location, etc.
Could be the artist is trying to find their voice/genre.
Could be family issues, bad press, peer pressure in the industry, etc.
Could also be too much substance abuse got them on a choke-hold (pun intended).

The music industry just like every entertainment industry is not for the faint-hearted. You need a mind of your own, a lot of determination and a lot of humility.
So many artists destroyed their own careers due to disloyalty and pride/arrogance/cockiness.

Modified; The guy below is an epitome of a Zombic fan. I don't know why most Nigerians always feel bad whenever the truth is spoken. Dbanj has never been a real talent. He is in the same category with JJC. Don Jazzy hyped him to stardom thts why he could not stand the test of time like the legendary Tubaba. Can Dbanj in his wildest imagination win any talent show just the way Timi Dakolo won the Idols back then.
It's called Grace

You just started your list wrongly, ASA doesn't look for hit song to be relevant she is just her own movement and passes messages
You're very correct!!! She's very unique in passing meaningful messages through music.... I'm gonna do music soon...She's a good source of motivation to me!!!

Did dbanj take your bread? Issa Banger is a hit. You people should move past this don j-dban’j feud. They have moved on while you people still live in the past.
