My advise anyone looking for a work in Dubai is to forget job sites unless u are looking for professional jobs and concentrate on going to production of manufacturing companies directly.
Ps: if u are in Sharjah and environs and would not mind working as a packer/counter in a plastic company send me a Pm. The pay is not great for starters(1300 ued/free accommodation/12 hours per day, 1 hour break per day/day and night shift/overtime bonus and Fridays off) Company will process Emirates Id and work visa

GTB has stopped withdrawal on ATM.If you have a first bank card, you can move funds to it and withdraw dirhams.........

I use my gtb master card with pos often, I heard some banks allow you to withdraw with it, but I couldn't withdraw at national bank of Fujairah but all pos transaction is going through.

u can check trusted websites for employment and recruitment agencies. I won't mention names here please and don't bother asking.

I was actually talking with an agent earlier today and he said I should just send him pictures of my passport and a passport photograph and then send money to his account...
is this actually possible cos it looks like scam to me

Like should I change it to Dollar or Dirham at the airport or come with it in naira to Dubai? Please, how sure is job over there with living condition, accommodation etc. Lastly, is job easy to find over there with or with Nigeria certificate?

You can get it at Palm deira once you come out of palm deira metro station, there a pedestrian bridge to get to the other side where they sell car accessories, you would see many Nigerians there and you can ask around for an African shop it isn’t far from the bridge or you can equally get it from frij murah opposite Malabar supermarket, just ask around there and you will be fine.

Change your money to dollars in Nigeria before coming and when you get to Dubai you can change from dollars to Dirhams via many exchanges in Dubai.

Accommodation is up to you and how you intend to live your life. Just know that accommodation in Dubai is more expensive than other emirates. A bedspace with like 6 to 8 persons can be 600 to 700 Dirhams, if you need an accommodation with less roommates then be ready to pay more.

There are jobs and getting them isn’t easy and doesn’t come without much efforts because your Nationality for most companies is considered. But if you are serious, determined and skilled, have experience or know your onions then you will get a job.

Guys pls am asking all this questions becuase am a newbie here. STAMPING OF VISA AND DOCUMENT ATTESTATION ARE THEY SAME? what of biometrics all this things are just confusing and need to be understood very well to avoid excess spending. Thanx
