Hi guys, please lawyers, seniors I need some advice. A friend of mine wants to start his EE application, his parents are currently late. They had legally adopted a girl about 7 years ago, complete with all the adoption papers. So now he's her guardian/brother/sole relative. She's about 10 years old now. Please does he need to legally adopt her again to include her in his application as his dependent? or just indicate that he's her guardian?
Thanks.

UK PLAB exams no be here and competing for residency slots is high.

Ireland residency is also accepted. I wonder why no one talks about it.

You might not be abreast of what is happening in terms of residency in Family Medicine in U.K,many residency slots have been left unfilled for couple of years now. This is fact and not hearsay. Some guys in Ireland are coming to UK to train because of ease of vacancies.

Just in!

WAEC has stopped the sale of scratch cards; For those who ultimately need it for WES verification.

Hian! Why on earth can't govt bodies ever be reliable? What do we do now?

Fair enough.

It doesn't however contradict my statement.

The shortage is politically motivated and is not due to availability of doctors willing to practice in the UK.

Are you sure it's about IRCC? Are people applying to be panel physicians and IRCC is rejecting them? I think it's just a reflection of the ongoing mass migration in our medical sector.

One thing this move can achieve is that IRCC may allow people submit their applications pending when they do Medicals.

Just like what they do for countries that don't issue PCCs without a request from IRCC.

One may have to upload proof that you are booked for medicals but your appointment is way after the 60 days deadline.

Maybe we should specifically ask for this?

Hello everyone,
Can anyone guide me on this issue (apologies if it has been asked before)
I am only planning ahead as i am yet to get ITA.
On page 1 i saw this

'For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR. For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.'

I am currently studying in the Uk, my hubby has the same visa as i do, however he does a lot of work in Nigeria. He goes to Nigeria often. i want him to do his Nigeria PCC because he is currently in Nigeria . He would later do a UK PCC as a UK resident.

The issue i have is he would probably get a Nigerian PCC while still in Nigeria to come to UK later in the year. Does this affect anything in light of the quote above. By the time we eventually submit our application he would have made at least 2 trips to and from Nigeria. I hope my question makes sense.

I don't think "guardian" will fly. If his parents had adopted he, then she is his sister and he will be able to add her as a sibling so he can sponsor her later.
Adopt her again? I don't know how that works.

He should leave it late up until when he is about to leave for the UK and it is valid for 6months but 3months is written on it. So do your forecast and stuff.

I think he has the right to include her as they are orphans. Having the proper papers with their past dates are cool. He should read up this. I think I have seen it before... Even children of unmarried dependent children are legal derivatives.

Could work when both Qlife and IOM become fully booked.

It's alright, bro/sis.

I was just trying to bring up an option. My sister and my cousin are currently trying the UK route and I can feel the stress they are going through.

Let your friend broaden his search. He can inquire directly from CIC through facebook or twitter.

Thanks bro. I'm looking for a way he can include her in his application at the moment, instead of the sponsor later route.

I am not on Twitter I'd have done it (and no, I don't want to have a Twitter account grin)
