you my dear friend are a wise man. I like the last sentence. Na to siddon look sure pass. The end of it will be visible to all, and hopefully lessons would be learnt either way. I couldn't help but to respond, cos I honestly didn't expect you would put it that way.

It's not as if I'm not satisfied with the publications. The fear of the unknown is just the problem. I know there's a second list but the problem is the content of that list(SH or Merits). You know we will be jeopardizing a lot of chances if it's the latter. I'm just having the feelings Marvel is giving us the right info, hence my continued wait. I'm in a state of dilemna... That was why I think it's a personal choice for everyone, I prefer to wait but I won't stop people from protesting or the publications. I'm not an authority here. Honestly you can go ahead if you feel that's the right thing to do. BLESS

But the waiting should not go beyond this month, by December it would have been a year since the interview. We already know that there are people on the list at FCC that were never contacted to this day.
Campaigns kick off this month and if by the end of this month there's no second batch we would have been patient enough by whatever standards and it will only be rational to ask questions.
The status quo must not continue to be maintained at the detriment of the common man and we must learn not to continually sweep such issues under the carpet and in the end we can only hope that as in the case of the Chinese railway scholarship, those that made the list get justice.
For me the biggest indicator of foul play is with regards to how those that made the first batch haven't said a word since they resumed and the management knowing well that If they no info is disclosed here we'll not be able to draw any inferences with regards the status of the recruitment and continue to wallow in hope which in the Nigerian context is mostly in vain for the masses.

Guy, nobody owes (those that got in via the first intake) any of you here an explanation on anything. I believe its there prerogative to either speak or not to speak. So, don't use that as a gauge to assume "foul play". It's ENTIRELY upto them.

if you like go as far as establishing your own newspaper and TV company so as to be able to do that effectively or even involve CNN and BBC so that it will reach the ends of the earth

From d look of things, some people know their status as per d 2nd batch, that their names are on d list. Reason for them kicking against d publication without even knowing d content yet. My question is how do u know that if u don't have help? Many of dis guys will still claim dey re fighting for d common man... The way I see it everybody is fighting for their individual interest. How long are we going to continue like this in Nigeria?

Please, I saw some posts about making a publication, this sounds laughable and pathetic. Do you want to put sand sand in our Garri? And even our govt. Fights against evidence of Amnesty international and transparency international even in the obvious, not to talk of you guys contributing to take them to court or media campaign. Well, as usual, I will give my best info on the latest happenings in DPR. Information reaching my desk and that of mavel(we have been given our office desk ) is that at most, the next batch letters will be dispatched next week. Peace

Ganduje was caught redhanded on camera collecting huge bunch of dollars but the president and his team are trying to sweep the whole issue nder the carpet, so even if we release a statement DPR will counter it and call it an allegation no matter what evidence we have at our disposal, lets not shoot ourselves in the foot. waiting will not kill anybody and besides not everyone will work in DPR.

We don't need anybody to update us, brother. If and when the DPR is ready to contact anyone, they would do it. As a matter of fact, the silence is better for some of us this way.

LOL... You didn't get the desired reaction?? You were expecting someone to give you three hearty cheers for such wise words.
The silence is even better, not the whole "this week/this month will be a month to remember" "Expect calls this week/next week" and the likes.
Let's just fold our arms and wait while enjoying this golden silence as no need for unnecessary tension anymore
