INDUSTRIALFAN: The Emperor is a nice machine but still is a glorified upgraded s63 amg. if this is the best benz out there then they still have a long way to go. I still find the brabus R900 outrageous cos it's not only loud but should be left for speedsters and suvs, who needs all that power when going for an executive drive. not to take away class and elegance from benz but if it's by specs and limited editions there is no one who does it better than Rolls Rolls in the automobile industry. Still in doubt? checkout Rolls Royce Sweptail, there is only one in the world and it goes with a price tag of a whooping 12m usd which makes it one of the most expensive cars in the world today . the average rolls Royce Phantom comes with a v12 and over 6.7L engine For specs and performance checkout ..Roll Royce conquistadors series, rolls Royce black badge series, rolls Royce mansory series ...and just so you know according to statistics over 65% of Rolls Royces produced since inception of rolls Royce cars in 1904 are still in use till today... tell me of any other manufacturer in the world that has such legendary stats .. benz builds for mortal men, rolls Royce builds for Kings and gods. you can never get the excellent riding experience you get with a rolls Royce from any other car. and as you are aware one Phantom will buy at least 3 S class benz 3 Likes

Adiwana:Go through my post on page 1. Check out the 3 pictures of the Lexus I posted. Bro let's be honest, Mercedes Benz is a good brand but the hype in this part of the world is something else. Like someone said, Benz is for people who can't afford luxury but want something 30% close to luxury. There are one thousand and one car models out there I'd rather die for. People say Benz get fne interior. Same specs of interior you go see for Honda sef. |

Benzs are trusted brands, reliable and like wine just get better with age. Lexus is almost on thesame level though, since coming out they havent failed to impress. I just blive Benz have a history that car owners or enthusiasts just want to be a part of, that is something other brands dont have. For now i belong to #teamtoyota. 6 Likes |

BMW M2 competition, M3 CS, M4 GTS, M5/M5 competition, M6 grand coupe etc then talk about Audi RS3, RS4, Rs5 and RS6 then u can talk about AMG variants. Lexus beats s class in reliability and matching them in luxury now. Too much gimmicks in Benz technology. Those things don't stand test of time compared to Japanese luxury. Mazda 6 is another awesome car |

NewDelhi:you think benz starts and ends with c300, e350 and 4matic? almost every celeb in this world owns a benz do you know how many head of states drive s550? do you know that maybach is rated as same class with rolls royce? do you know ferrari and gts are rated as same? benz is the second highest selling car brand in the world, they have cars for every model, either wagon, hatchback, coupe, every car type, improve your knowledge about cars first before saying nonsense your garage is empty if there is no benz there, it is a known fact 13 Likes 1 Share |

benz is the best car in the world, you get more features for your money why do you think celebrities show off their benz cars and not dodge, hyundai, lexus? apart from lexus lx570, any other lexus is trash, it is not even known in europe unlike benz that is worldwide drive a 2016 gle in dubai and you will earn respect, drive a 2016 lexus gx460 and nobody will respect you 2 Likes |

addictiv:LMAO... Kings and gods kor... Lmao okay fine.. 1 phantom will buy 3 Sclasses but then you seem to forget the Sclass isn't the one competing with the Rolls-Royce. the Maybach is the one to be compared so how many Maybachs can a phantom buy? Yes a Maybach is also an Sclass but with a different pricetag and spec... Oga... If you don't have both an Sclass and a Rolls-Royce to compare toe to toe, don't bother comparing. Okay let's do this.... I hope you are Ready to read sha... Lego... Safety: The S-Class’ pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Phantom doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners. For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Mercedes S-Class are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Rolls-Royce Phantom doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts. The rear seatbelts optional on the S-Class inflate when a collision is detected, helping to spread crash forces over a much larger area of the body and limiting head and neck movement. This can help prevent spinal and internal injuries. The Phantom doesn’t offer inflatable seatbelts. The S-Class offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Phantom doesn’t offer all-wheel drive. The S-Class has standard mbrace, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Phantom doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly. Both the S-Class and the Phantom have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, driver alert monitors, available night vision systems and around view monitors. Warranty: The S-Class’ corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Phantom’s (5 vs. 4 years). There are almost 11 times as many Mercedes dealers as there are Rolls-Royce dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the S-Class’ warranty. Engine: The AMG S 63’s standard 4.0 turbo V8 produces 40 more horsepower (603 vs. 563) than the Phantom’s 6.8 turbo V12. The AMG S 65/Maybach S 650’s standard 6.0 turbo V12 produces 58 more horsepower (621 vs. 563) and 74 lbs.-ft. more torque (738 vs. 664) than the Phantom’s 6.8 turbo V12. Fuel Economy and Range: On the EPA test cycle the AMG S 65/Maybach S 650 RWD V12 gets better fuel mileage than the Phantom (13 city/22 hwy vs. 12 city/19 hwy). The S 550e can drive on battery power alone for up to 18.6 miles. The Phantom must run its internal combustion engine to move. An engine control system that can shut down half of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the S-Class 560/63’s fuel efficiency. The Phantom doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine. Regenerative brakes improve the S-Class Hybrid’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Phantom doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system. In heavy traffic or at stoplights the S-Class’ engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again. (Start/Stop isn’t accounted in present EPA fuel mileage tests.) The Phantom doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system. Transmission: A nine-speed automatic is available on the Mercedes S-Class, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Phantom. Brakes and Stopping: The S-Class S 63/65 offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The Phantom doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors. Suspension and Handling: The S-Class’ drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The Phantom doesn’t offer drift compensation steering. For better maneuverability, the S AMG S 65’s turning circle is 4.8 feet tighter than the Phantom’s (38.1 feet vs. 42.9 feet). The S 450/560’s turning circle is 4.8 feet tighter than the Phantom EWB’s (40.4 feet vs. 45.2 feet) Chassis: The Mercedes S-Class may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 850 to 1300 pounds less than the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The S-Class is shorter than the Phantom, making the S-Class easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces. For excellent aerodynamics, the S-Class has standard flush composite headlights. The Phantom has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag. Cargo Capacity To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the S-Class’ available trunk can be opened and closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Phantom doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its trunk, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full. Ergonomics: The S-Class has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Phantom doesn’t offer a remote starting system. Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the S-Class to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The Phantom doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid. To better shield the driver and front passenger’s vision, the S-Class has standard dual-element sun visors that can block glare from two directions simultaneously. The Phantom doesn’t offer secondary sun visors. To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the S-Class has standard extendable sun visors. The Phantom doesn’t offer extendable visors. On extremely cold winter days, the S-Class’ optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Phantom doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel. The S-Class’ optional Active Parking Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Phantom doesn’t offer an automated parking system. Did you also know that based on Consumer Reports, recommendation goes to the the Mercedes S-Class over any Rolls Royce based on reliability, safety and performance overall? 14 Likes 2 Shares |
