Sometimes ago, a nairalander compared the sudden madness for Benz cars to the madness Nigerians had for blackberry between 2007 and 2013. He was bashed , insulted and bruised. He was right afterall, it was the Yahoo boys and street musicians that made Benz so popular. It was so bad a particular nairalander was even comparing a Benz model to the rolls Royce wriath. Moreover most of these foreign manufacturers know alot of Nigerians love luxury but can't afford it. They know Nigerians love premium luxury but they don't have the money so what they do is give you something a little close to luxury. The guy was not comparing lexus with Benz, he was only pointing out that lexus is the popular brand now which is true. Lexus no dey touch ground for this forum especially Nigerian used. They are more affordable and gives the luxury the younger brother toyota will not give. I myself will be buying a lexus in a couple of days. The craze for this thing is very similar to the blackberry craze of years back. Before you can say a car is better than another, these are the things you need to consider not just brand name. Those Benz fans are so terrible one was even placing Benz and BMW in the same category. Moreover most of them aren't getting my point. I noted Lexus is gradually gaining popularity over Benz and that's true. There was a time infiniti, Murano, muscle, range Rover, venza all reigned.
