Thank mama..apologies for the late response. this made me feel better. Being, no actually went nuts. The pushchair is now a no go area o. Packing and keeping out of reach.

Giddyperson:
If you had spanked her, that's how I'd have been forced to find your house and come and spank you back. tongue.
Maybe its time to pack up the push chair. Climbing is one crazy, annoying, frustrating milestone that nobody talks about. Why is it not even mentioned as a milestone.
I know that feeling when you're trying to keep her from Creche cuz you do a better work than creche then you have to take her back the next day with a lip injury

Saabi mamas, can we start feeding beverage and ribena at 10 months? Which is preferred milo, ovaltine or bournvita? Been advised to start but sceptical cos of the sugar content

Don't even bother, hubby won't work. He would end up bringing the baby and begging you to breastfeed by 1am after agreeing with you during the day. It's you the breastfeeder that knows where it pinches.

You were there? He didn't even agree to take him. I slept with him and I was tempted to breastfeed him when his yell won't allow me if it were to be his yell alone I would manage, my body was on fire, my neck, shoulders and back then headache joined as I no wan die now and he wanted it so badly I gave it to him but now we are back to weaning and I mean it this time around.

Maybe you should wait till older a bit. Sugar is not advisable for under 1 year

grin grin grin e be like me and you born the same pikin. This is exactly what she does but with happy hour. Finally stumbled on one bottled youghurt that she can't get enough of. Just give her one bottle after dinner and the sleep will be one way so that's what she is taking now.

Giddyperson:
Jay is enjoying. I'd try this with GB maybe it's more filing. To give her Ribena now scares me cuz she's ready to drink 3 packs before she would be happy. Giving her one pack of Ribena is finding trouble. She would finish it, shake the empty pack, fling it and start tantrum.

I consider them more of a treat than feeding even at 19 months. We can spend months on one carton of Ribena cuz I only give like once or twice a week normally. As for tea, GB has just never liked it and even if she did, it's not a drink I can give daily cuz of sugar . Theres one cocoa drink hunniesuzzie once recommended. It doesnt have sugar, guess you can sweeten with formula. I was going to try that one but GB started sleeping through the night. Someone also recommended making your own fruit juices. I think 10 months is old enough for ribena and home made fruit juices but start very slowly, and dont make it a routine.

Lol I put one Ribena in her creche bag and it stays there all through the term and I don't even ask cuz I know why. The nanny had probably tried a few times and seen pepper. The child kukuma loves water, she can finish 2 to 3 bottles of water in a day so I focus on that.

cheesy Christmas clothes ke. GB is going to repeat her birthday outfit for Christmas cuz I spent a lot of money on that thing and she only wore it for like 2 hours on the day before she got cranky and had to wear a bodysuit. And she would soon outgrow it and what if I never have another baby girl, my money can not just go like that. cheesy cheesy

Ok back to your question. I noticed that there are lots of baby shops on my street, that's where I buy outing clothes. But they are expensive. Most times a pair of anything would cost 5k more or less. Dresses are even worse. Those shops are everywhere really. Baby clothes is lucrative business cheesy

Reading through, seems like I'm one of the few that didnt Have B'feeding withdrawal. Here's how it went, by 11months, I was already TIRED of waking up EVERY night to b'feed but the boy seemed addictery once in a while, I would refuse to get up and allow him cry himself to sleep then i stopped b'feeding during the day and would stuff him with cereal if he was acting testy. At night I would make formula if he starts crying but he would refuse most times. Of course his daddy also suffered through it because the cry nor be here. Then I started feeding him late like 10:30/11pm. Even if he's asleep I'll feed him like that. Before I could even process it, the boy started sleeping through the night and that's how we weaned at 11months.
but one interesting thing, I never experienced engorged breasts or any such side effects. Maybe because i didn't plan to stop abruptly or that's my own body system.after a few weeks, I tried to test him but he was not interested again cheesy

Its really crazy... Baby clothes are really expensive especially for outings, it's usually 5k and above.
Its more annoying cos they outgrow it very fast and wearing oversize doesn't make them look smart at all.. God will continue to provide for us oo
