This Celtics offense. My God!! Jayson Tatum struggling with Ryan freaking Anderson

Brown is out of his slump and now Tatum is deep into his. I am hoping this is the sophomore slump so we can get over the hump sooner than later when the post season starts. The Celtics are still trying to put these pieces together and it is a lot to put together, however, I love the team spirit. Last night's game are examples of when you need your super star to carry the team and boy did Kyrie do that!!!! Don't get carried away by the sheer talent of these kids, they are still very young and new to this experience but I know he will figure it out especially since he has a wonderful coaching crew around him to support him.

@Roland17
Are you seeing why we are not paying Bell?

Bell should pack his "Kai" because that kid Conner is balling his legs outs. He has worked hard but he is no Bell but I believe he is good enough to keep his position with the Steelers.

Lol that offensive line made Bell look good I keep telling you. Coupled with the fact that we have a new and improved offensive coordinator calling the plays.

Conner has shredded every single record Bell set in just 9 games. I am desperate for Bell to leave so he gets exposed in another team who might not have the line men that makes his running style work

I hope he snaps out of it but his shot selection these days is very dodgy. He keeps doing this annoying dribble and then settling for long 2's (the most inefficient type of shots)

It's good to see Kyrie taking ownership of the team. Every team must have that go-to-guy and for sometime it felt like nobody wanted to step up and take that role

Marcus Morris is the most clutch player in the league!! I think you guys paid the wrong Marcus

Marcus is dead clutch and man does he deserve some renegotiation to his contract. He comes off the bench with a dominating spirit, I would have made an argument for him to start but that would thin out power from the bench. He finishes most of our games and has been reliable. M. Smart has allowed his pay get to his head, infact he rapped about it. He has been poor this season.

So Patrick McCaskill singlehandedly ruined his NBA career. Sad (in Donald Trump's voice).

J. Brown has to be the most blocked player in the league.

Can't believe the Sacramento Kings are 7-5 and the Timberwolves 4-9. Dave Joerger really working magic with that young core

Not a bad trade...

The only gripe here will be the loss of good shooters for an average one.

Biggest Loser: Houston - I don't see any possible move they could make again to be number 1 contenders to the warriors in the west. Utah, OkC and even Denver appears to have leapfrogged them.

Other losers: rest of the east

Philly still not beating Boston. No team in the east will beat celtic in a playoff series.

Siakam for MIP of the year. This guy is like Kawhi 2.0. I don't get it! 23 pts from 7 shots. 7!

It's early days but I don't even think if it's down to Kawhi. And I guess time will tell but man Nick Nurse has turned this team to a lean mean killer offensive machine with the unlikeliest of pieces

I wonder where Houston goes from here. In ridiculously short time it almost looks like their window is shut already

The entire West is a crap shoot after Golden State

Don't be so sure. The absence of a toxic influence and locker room can create wonders. Saric is a solid shooter and will space the floor, Covington is a top defender and would improve their defense

It's now on Wiggins and KAT to show up every night. They are out of excuses
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:00am On Nov 11, 2018
When I reason Houston Rockets matter earlier dem talk say e neva reach like that.

The Rockets started this season in a desperate mood after they lost key pieces and I maintain my stance about that. Utah, Nuggets have gotten better and looking to usurp them.

How can we be tied with this Cavs team at halftime? It's an insult...

Who tell you? Hope dey there dieeee...

When you just acquired a top 5 defender (top 7 if we're being sentimental), a better Brook Lopez, a rejuvenated Derrick Rose and a backup PG in Teague (Thibs should consider), hope dey there.

Your shooting prowess just doubled...
Your defensive rating just went up...

If Wiggins and KAT can bring their game in 60% of their season games this season, I don't see why they won't make 7th or 8th seed.

The problem is can Wiggins and KAT step up? Look at how Chandler bullied KAT the other day

Utah, Denver as of now are better than the Rockets, no doubt hell even the Kings are better off but the season is just about a month old or so.
Deals can still be put through for the Rockets that will make em challenge for a playoff spot by april and they will progress better as the season goes irregardless.
The two lost key pieces U refer to aren't even Hou main problem this season , offensively they have been poor, their major offensive play which is the 3pt has been underwhelming compared to last season.I also feel they haven't yet adjusted to this season much faster paced game.
But they will be alright.

That is where you are getting it wrong in my opinion. The reason the offense is struggling has something to do with their defense and the pieces they lost, particularly Ariza.

The success of Houston’s offense last season and under Mike D’Antoni is predicated on uptempo quick transition offense. Which means, they were successful at moving the ball with pace/ high tempo from defense into transition offense as this puts the players in offensive rhythm before they approach the opponents half.

A typical play last season was Capela or Ariza rebounds the ball, moves it to Harden/Cp3 who approach the opponent’s half with pace in transition to take a three point shot or drive to the basket for the foul.

Presently, they have a poor defense, particularly perimeter defense and that is grossly affecting the pace of the offense, which in turn affects the rhythm of the shot attempts. That means they can not push the ball in tempo and that is the stark contrast of the Mike D’Antoni system.

My Army Boys did me proud today of all days(Soft spot for Westpoint through family/friend ties). Was really expecting the Duke boys to literally run them out of the gym but alas no. They stood their ground and played solid Fundamental basketball. They punished most mistakes Duke made but ultimately ran out of steam as Duke's quality shone through in the end(the Big 3 are sure NBA stars). They would surely but an end to the notion they can actually beat a few NBA teams.
