Abaribe should object to that ruling. Had the soldiers killed Kanu, would the judge tell Abaribe to bring Kanu's corpse to court because he was a surety?

Nonsense! The judge is only bowing to the power of the day. angry

The Judge should have sent the criminals to jail... awon oniranu!!!

Ewu, go send them to jail urself, u think they will just pay because the judge said so. Let me educate mofos like u a little, the defendants are meant to appel and state their reasons of inability to provide Kanu which will take a very long process of judgment to determine, while the case is on buhari will be sent back to daura, case closed! Abaribe will not pay even 1 Kobo, if u don't like that go drink acid!

I don't want to comment but your moniker got my attention...the judge is just been lenient in the judgement cos they stood bail with property worth that amount for the believe they will stand if KANU did not appear anytime his needed in court but the guy has abscond so automatically the property or bail is to be used as collateral for standing for what u can't do but,the judge still gave them grace of 2 months instead of immediate action. So bro its not a case to he defended it can still even land them in prison as a lesson. Moral of d story is don't stand for som1 u can't predict his or her next move

It is IPOB vs IPOB, nothing spoil. Standing as a surety for an Ibo person is suicidal. He will leave you high and dry. Talking from personal experience.

How had wished FFK was one of the sureties. But he is too smart to put his money where is mouth is. Talk is cheap FFK, you should
have gambled with your alloted stolen sovereign wealth as sureties.
God will never allow the era of Jonathan and PDP anymore of sharing of our national cake.
I couldn't understand why Atiku could claim he earned N60m in 3yrs and paid meagre tax of 10M, I thought he wanted to play the Trump style but the truth is that he is broke. No free money anymore.

Apart from the ephemeral thrill gotten from propaganda and sensationalism, what exactly is there to be seen in this funny ruling?

Justice Binta Nyarko is not the sole embodiment of Nigerian judiciary...We have superior courts - open to the defendants - which will most likely throw out verdicts that are incongruent with justice, fairness and common sense.

NAIJAHITPLAY:
The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the three persons, including Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, who stood sureties for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to within two months, pay the sum of N100m each into the court’s account for their inability to produce the missing Biafran activist in court.

Justice Binta Nyako gave the order on Wednesday in a ruling in which she amended the conditions of the bail she had in April 2017 granted Kanu.

Kanu is being prosecuted before the court on charges of treasonable felony.
His trial had been earlier separated from that of his co-accused following his disappearance after a military invasion of his home in Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, in Abia State, on September 14, 2017
The three sureties who guaranteed his bail had been made to sign a bail bond of N100m each which was backed by their landed assets whose documents were deposited in court.
But with the amendment ordered by the court on Wednesday, they are now required to deposit cash of N100m in the bank account of the court.
Justice Nyako ruled that the three sureties had two months to pay the sum of N100m each into the court’s account.
The judge reiterated that the order directing the sureties to pay the money was an order of interim forfeiture.
She fixed March 28 for the hearing of the motions filed by the sureties to challenging the duties imposed on them to produce the IPOB leader.

Oyorobas should pay or no more talks of biafra.
I know they want peace too but cant fight for it,so these should be their own contribution to biafra.

Not when the state went to kill the defendant few days before he would appear in court and he ran away. Couldn't the state have waited for him to appear in court and then pick him up from there ? The state didn't respect the bail so,dont blame Kanu for running for his dear life since the system does not protect him.

if that is true, then why didnt nnamdi file a motion or affidavit in court through his lawyer?? he didnt have to be there. why didnt he at the very least inform those that took a chance to stand surety for him if he is so innocent, why still issuing threats against nigeria

These fools are surrounded by all sorts of evil and wickedness on a daily basis, for which you hardly see anyone caught, successfully prosecuted and jailed or executed, yet their major problem is Mazi Kanu, Senator Abaribe and doing everything possible to continue sharing the same country with the very people they despise!

Leave them to continue their wankfest over IPOB and Biafra issue!
