Yeah. All the present BPharm courses would be there. However, there would be more courses in clinical pharmacy and some aspects of pharmacology. Also, there'll be more clinical rotations where you would be exposed to a more robust clinical practice and pharmaceutical care.

My son is 300 going 400 level Pharm students @ Idiaraba(Unilag)Just noticed from from his portal curent CGPA of 3.33 but Courses outstanding as follows:-PCG201B,PCH202,PCH203,PHG211..he said these are 200 level result that 300 level result is not yet in the portal;..my concern, would he make it to 4th year does this mean additional year at that department or the school may pull him to botany or other non Pharmacy departments? Please need kind concise response from some one familiar with workings of that department. Thank you.Worried parent

Well I don't know how it is in UNILAG sha.. But most times the online portals have a lot of issues.. It might be that the results haven't been released on the portal yet.. That's why they're outstanding but even at that, those are 200l courses he can't get to 300l if he didn't pass them .. You should probably just ask him if he has seen all his 300l results. That's what you should be worried about.. But whatever the outcome.. Pharmacy school is not the end of it all, all the best to you both tho.

There's no degree classification in Pharmacy. There's a 'good' demand for Pharmacist in the Country, even better than any other Medical profession

Good pm Men of Honour, pls I need advice regarding this ish, am currently studying botany buh I feel I should switch to a professional course like pharmacy. Which means am gonna be in 100 level when my current couse mates are in 300. But my fears are as follows, I enjoy studying biology than chemistry which makes me think sometimes that Medicine may fit me more, since pharmacy needs someone who has passion for chemistry, so pls pals shed light on this. Am josh, 200level, pharmD, Uniben. I'm proud to be a px student. I hope the 6yrs for pharmD will worth extra time. I don't like cramming those big names in cognosy, bt i have to. I'm enjoying pharm all d same. There were tough moments..in my pcg exams, i almost went blank lol. Bt i passed thank God. Studyin pharm @uniben requires ur commitment and seriosness to do v.well. Bt all the same, its still worth it at the end of the day

It's been stressful I must say
Lecturers are so particular about my class because we didn't write p-utme, so we get the 'this class is the worst we've had in 7 years', 'this class is too dull', so it's the survival of the fittest.
All the same, I'm enjoying the whole experience.

PCN recently advertised for pharmacist position sometime in August..I applied and last week..I got an email inviting me for an interview on 19th November..4 days later..I got an email saying the interview has been postponed until further notice that a new date will be communicated...i think high connects have paused the interview probably because their candidates weren't selected..it's really tiring to be a Nigerian..
