That is how they play. Even their countrymen know them that is why they hardly come to watch them.

It is not a new thing if South Africa dominates a game. They always dominate games even against big teams. Even with their best strikers, they can dominate a game and still not score.

Ghana would have dismantled them with all their showy football.

This is the best coach so far. Nowadays we qualify for tournaments without any heartache.

Don't mind them jor. There's a reason he's the coach and not them. Reading a match is not about making hasty substitute decisions.

Having watched the match to the end, the following are the conclusion drwan:


1) Nigeria played average football........SA tried too esp that percy tau


2) iheanacho's calling is not football...........he would excel better in hockey


3) musa is a very good player


4) may thunder locate and fire all those white arsenal fans saying iwobi plays better for Nigeria than he does for them.........iwobi today, was a total waste product


5) that referee and lines men (esp the lines men) should be kidnapped and raped mercilessly and thier family members assasinated

6) gernot rohr is a fool for not playing samuel chukwueze......i like the young lad


7) etebo is a confused man


and lastly,

cool congratulations to nigeria for qualifying.........good work lads

That our coach no dey try at all. He doesn't know how to substitute. How come he substitute at 90mins when match don almost end? He cldnt even put the lastest Villa real striker. He just bench the guy. the coach no dey try at all. He doesn't give other players changes to express their skills.

He's old school jare..... Stuck in his ways, afraid of change and pretty much would remain that way. You can't teach an old dog new tricks

lol.. hmmmm, nah F.I.T be dat (Future Impossible Tense).. I believe prior to todays match, we only needed one point to qualify (base on the permutations) inrespective of the outcome of the remaining matches...

I have said it several times, even before the world Cup that rohr isn't a good coach, he was lucky because he got good hardworking players in his era for Eagle, a player like etebo, musa, ndidi , balogun and his partner, he remember to do sub because South Africa do substitution,if not,he would hav make his first sub at 91 minutes, thank god that Nigeria now got good main central backs, if not, we would have been disgrace everywhere, he doesn't read game, if I were him, I will even bench iwobi and introduce him in second half around 60 minutes because the lad got tired quickly wen playing for Eagle, even from first 35 minutes,the same against libya untill full-time and rohr didn't notice. He remove musa instead of iwobi, infact the coach isn't a good coach, he needs to go for more extra coaching school. That's y his former club can not allow him more than 3 months before he got a job in Africa, we hav good coaches in Nigeria like siasia, but advantages of rohr is that he attracts more foreign base Nigeria players.

Onuachu is tall, strong, pacy too. He also hungry unlike the ill-motivated lacklustre effigy called Iheanachor. How can one call himself a striker and you can't even get a shot on target in 90 mins?
