I lost the password to my account journeytoEl which I used to register here so i'm announcing my birth story with a second account. At 36weeks my baby was in cephalic position then at 38weeks scan revealed my baby's position had changed to transverse lie hence I was booked for elective CS three days after the scan I was quite sad and prayed to God to have it changed because I really wanted to experience natural labour and have an interesting B.S ,I was admitted on the night to the given date I had accepted my fate and started looking forward to carrying my bundle of joy then the doc reluctantly requested for a last scan before we proceed since he kept reassuring me it can't change lo and behold the scan revealed my baby was back to cephalic a repeat scan was done and still the same thing. I was so overjoyed and I was discharged. Fast forward to 40weeks,pikin no free show,did walks ,licked pineapple bla bla bla yet Oga just dey gidigba for belle. I was later booked for induction. On the said date I strutted with my full makeup and bags to the hospital, I was admitted and given the first drug around 9:30am ,I was just flexing and watching African magic ,eating variety of meals and gisting with hubby,after the third dose the pains started coming in intervals, I could not watch film again,the wrapper I refused to wear na so I rush wear am, then came the unbearable pains na so I off cloth dey waka naked screaming down the hall I was checked and I was 7cm gone to the surprise of the doctor, then came the vomiting and purging of all my jekuje in the labour room, the nurses kept telling me not to shout to reserve my strength for pushing,the mucous plug went off,the doc broke the water by himself at that point I was basically unconscious all I remember was shouting I want C.S, I want C.S and the doctor laughing at me, then I started shouting I want to poo, I was told to hold my ankles and push,on the second push my prince popped out crying his lungs out weighing 3.68kg and the pains disappeared, then came the episiotomy the anaesthetic stopped working at a particular point and I could feel every passage of the thread coupled with the fact I had multiple tears. To all TTC women out there you will soon be mothers IJN, may our kids never bring sorrow to us,as for me I will happily do elective C.S if the opportunity arises again abeg the pain has no comparison. *drops pen*,* off to feed my chop chop prince

I never planned to go another journey cos I had 3 kids(2 boys(twins) and a girl.but to my utmost surprise my flow was delayed and by the time I did PT, found out I was pregnant, oh I was not happy but my husband encouraged me,of all my pregnancy journey I've never had morning sickness or any symptom accompanied with pregnancy but this pregnancy came with all sort(dizziness, loss of appetite, food smell and all the rest)by 30 weeks I was tired cos I was so bloated and heavy and wished I could give birth at 36 weeks but the bobo had other plans,I started having contractions on and off from the 37th week but it wasn't serious.
On the 14th which was my sister in law's bday,we went out to the cinema and watched a movie,got home,ate n slept ,I woke up with contractions and noticed it was coming every 10-15 mins apart,I bathed and did some squat exercises and walked around my house,by 11am it was now 3 times in 10 mins so I called hubby and we headed to the clinic,got there by 12,was checked and i was 5cm already, by 1pm I was 7cm,the doctor had to rupture the membrane and burst my water,that was when I went to heaven and back,by 3pm I had the urge to poo and after 4 pushes, the bobo showed face,placenta followed afterwards and I was cleaned

My Edd was 14 November, but on the 6th I started having contractions. I went to the hospital and asked them to check if I was in labour. they checked and told me my cervix was still closed and thick. but they still admitted me Incase I start to dilate since I was already having contractions. The contractions stopped and so the next morning,my doctor gave me a membrane sweep and inserted a pill and asked me not to stand up for 30minutes. I started having contractions but my cervix wasn't dilating.
I was checked by 12 midnight and I was only 3cm dilated,so the nurse inserted another pill. I slept for sometime and when I woke up, I started feeling labour pains.the nurse checked me and I was 4cm.
They left and I started screaming and telling them I wanted to poo. They told me not to push yet and that I should bear the pain by breathing with my mouth open. I told them I couldn't control myself and I was screaming(It was so painful).

The nurse got fed up with my screaming and told me to follow her to the delivery room where she can check me.she opened my legs and saw my baby's head. she was shocked and started screaming for the other nurse while arranging her equipments. she asked me to push,and after 2 pushes,my handsome bobo came into this world screaming out his lungs.
I looked at him and all the pains were forgotten. The nurse delivered the placenta,cleaned me up,and wheeled me back to my room.

I Thank you all for being my companions through this journey.
I pray our joy will not be cut short and we will live long to give our children all the love they deserve.

I don't know why these nurses will not take mamas serious when they say they want to poo. Anyway, thank God she finally checked and your baby was delivered successfully. Congrats once more teamie and your baby is so adorable

I use it for baby rash in place of baby powder.
You can buy more baby clothes cos the way they outgrow it ehh. Just leave newborn size and go from 2-3mths

Ok thanks mama. Thats why i got few newborn sizes, in that case i will shop for more 2-3months sizes. I got the diaper bag and small flask too.

I have a question ooo, sometimes when i wee i feel pain at my lower tummy, please what could be the cause?
Should i be worried that baby is in breech position?

N the scan i did 3weeks ago showed bobo was 2weeks ahead which made Edd change to 21st of February, but i really wish for a march baby cos i am a March born too.

May God not allow our joy be cut short!! Cord round d neck can be detected by scan, it can be severe (especially wen it's tied in a knot after rounding) it can be minor as well (d baby can pop out wit d cord round his/her neck, or can be cut at d point of delivery). Any which way, work hand in hand with ur doctors, they knows better

Evening mama, i think its too early to be worried over babys position, however there are exercises to try dat changes baby back to the normal position. My scan keeps showing 2weeks ahead too each time, but most times first trimester edd are more accurate than at the later stages so u may get your wish.
