what is 'church'? A building or people?

This actor is a kind and generous man who is wise with his money.

He sees no sense at all in giving money to some fast-talking miracle pastor who flies with his fat greedy and selfish wife aboard a private jet, to Paris or Dubai for shopping sprees.

Rather than waste his money on deceitful pastors who sell bogus backstage passes to meet Jeeeesus in Heaven, this gentleman quietly helps out the poor, to the best of his ability.

The man pictured above is a good man, with a heart of gold, but he is NOT a gullible person who wastes his cash trying to buy a seat beside Jeeesus in Heaven.

Christians who think they can BUY their way into heaven, are no better than Muslims who expect to enjoy the attentions of 72 virgins in paradise, in reward for murdering non-Muslims. What you are doing is completely wrong. God said in Malachi chapter 3 that you should pay your tithe to God and not as aid to the needy. Just bear in mind you are not paying tithe and hence robbing God according to the scripture. You give arms to the needy from your remaining 90% not Gods 10%.

sharrap diaaaa!!! Wat of all the ten commandments?? Why are u guys not fighting to enforce that?? Why always about offerings and tithings?? I think if u enforce the ten commandments u won't have to force or coerce anyone into paying the tithe..

John Dumelo is catholic and thr catholic church dedicates tithes to the needy.

Does the Catholic church collect tithes? Yes, but they don't lay emphasis on it...

Wise Christian..you can give your priest/pastor as you deem fit and also give to the needy as you deem fit..you can give the needy 90 or even 100 percent of your monthly wage if your spirit leads you to..this tithe matter has become hackneyed..it's only ten percent..is it because it is called tithe? What if someone who is wealthy decides to give the priest something worth more than ten percent of his earning has the person erred? Is it the title of tithe or the percentage or the giving that is bone of contention or what??
