Jesus said:

"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Now am I the only one that's been able to draw comparisons with what had transpired in the days of Noah, to that of the Asian tsunami which took place on the 26th of Dec, 2004?

For Jesus had said as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also been at the end of the world, and with reference to how they were in a celebratory mood before the flood came in the days of Noah!

For the Asian tsunami took place at peak of the celebration of Christmas which is the boxing day of 2004, for despite that it wasn't on the day of Christmas itself, the boxing day is known to be the day when the celebrations of Christmas is at its highest point, even higher than that of the Christmas day itself.

So could it be that it was meant to be a warning to humanity with respect to what Jesus said the end time would be like, as it was similar to what took place in the days of Noah of which Jesus said, "as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be"?

And does it also tell us what Jesus makes of the celebration of His birthday by the church, and also the world, for if it was such a big deal to Him, He would not have permitted such a disaster to befall those who were celebrating it?

The record numbers of the victims of the Asian tsunami, would have been much less had it taken place on a normal day with little or no such celebration, as thousands of its victims were said to be foreign Christmas tourists who were also in a celebratory mood.

Therefore it's a moment that should never be taken for granted, as it both literally and figuratively shook the world to its very foundations.

And forget the excuse of global warming, for if there's a lesson to be learnt, it's that science can fail man when man needs it the most, for this was a moment of embarrassment for science and all of its said advancements, as even animals who don't have the benefit of such science could be able to sense this according to reports, that there weren't much dead bodies of animals reported, as they were able to run to safely for their dear lives beforehand.

But unlike animals, the world leading scientists, with all their science couldn't see this coming for the sake of their fellow humans, so as to forewarn them of such an impending danger, in order to save their lives and avert such extent of casualties.

But this was just a reality check for science and all those who have placed their trust in it, for science can only do so much if God the Creator of man chooses not to reveal such a thing to man!

Therefore despite them being the world leading scientists, they didn't know about this or couldn't forecast its coming, because God had hidden this knowledge from them but revealed it unto the animals, therefore despite that the animals knew about it, it was guaranteed that it would evade and defy all their man-made scientific warning systems and detectors, before it came!

Therefore the Asian tsunami caught virtually everyone by surprise inclusive of such scientists, that made it result in such extent of losses of human lives. So just imagine that it was the flood instead that happened in the days of Noah that came upon the world, is that's how just about every human being in the world would have been easily destroyed?

For what happened in that regard is similar to what Jesus said concerning the flood that took place in the days of Noah, even that they knew not until the flood came and took them all away. And that was what he also said would take place at end of the world.

Therefore considering all the characteristics of the Asian tsunami of 2004 and its similarities with the flood that took place in the days of Noah, inclusive of its unprecedented standing in recent history with respect to natural disasters, I have come to the conclusion that it didn't happen by accident but that it was a sign from God to mankind at Christmas, to warn them of how the end of the world would take place, so that they'd be prepared, and not be taken unawares.

Therefore this thread was created in remembrance of that sign!

When animals begin to foretell such disasters than the leading scientists of the humans, then you'll know that this one don pass the level of be careful!

The animals be like, run, run, run for your dear lives. While the humans be like Happy Christmas, let's celebrate! Let eat, drink, enjoy ourselves and forget about tomorrow. And all of a sudden poof! and the tsunami came and took them all away.

This is a very serious matter because that's how the end's gonna be like!

If someone said that animals could be wiser than men who would have believed?

Maybe the humans and their leading scientists have a thing or two to learn from the animals!

Animals would be laughing at the humans and saying, after they humans would say that animals don't know anything!

So because your baby or child can hear frequencies you can no longer hear as an adult makes the child more knowledgeable than you? Really?

Do you know how large the oceans are? Where exactly are you going to place an earthquake detector (the actual cause of a tsunami) in the wide expanse of the oceans? Placing them on land will not give you sufficient warning to evacuate in a orderly or timely fashion. Or is your argument that no animal died in the tsunami?

You're the one that lacks the knowledge of God.
The reason people like him doesn't believe in God is because of people like you who paint God as a murderer and a consuming fire, taking scriptures out of context to feed your false teachings..

You lack the knowledge of Christ who is the explanation of the mysteries of God.
The mysteries that the prophets of old couldn't fully comprehend was explained and simplified in Christ.
Job, Abraham, moses, Jacob and all the prophets of old perceived God in shadows. Christ came to clear the misunderstandings about God. And yet people like you still see God through another means and not through Christ..

I don't find it strange that some spiritual mediocres would think that God sending of a tsunami in this respect as a warning to mankind concerning the end, would imply that He's wicked.

For despite knowing that this was the same God that sent a flood to destroy all of mankind with exception of Noah and his family in Noah's day, and also sent fire and brimstone to annihilate the land of Sodom and Gomorrah, both because of man's wickedness on the earth, they didn't think it made Him wicked, but it's when He now does a similar thing, such as in the Asian Tsunami and in Hell Fire that will now make Him to become a bad Person.

It's not surprising the level of ignorance being displayed by such with respect to the gross level of spiritual mediocrity in the church today!

Now for those of us that know better concerning God, if God chooses today to utterly destroy the earth and everything thing in it, as He did in the respect of Sodom and Gomorrah, He would still be absolutely perfect. And it's not just because He's the Creator and therefore that He could do whatever He liked, but that after man sinned in the beginning the only reason man is any better than dust, is the Grace and the Mercies of God!

For if not for that then man would have already been history by now and have returned to the dust that he was before God breathed into man the breath of life.

So even though man's yet lived, it was only because God had decided to give man a second chance to do right, and that's why He gave His only begotten Son on man behalf to redeem man of His sins.

So when man doesn't do what God requires of man, God has every right to take away the life from man which His Grace and Mercy had afforded him. And that wouldn't make God any less perfect than He already is!

The Asian Tsunami is a stark reminder of how the end would be like, for it would take humanity inclusive of the world leading scientists by surprise!

It's not a bad thing after all for the humans to learn from the animals, if that could lead to their salvation!
