next level is a common thing in Nigeria, even rccg has used it in the time past as either holy ghost or convection theme, what is so special in it. It is a dry comment from Reno okri that is struggling to be relevant or intelligent.

Seriously I wonder what is there to plagiarize in two words.

"Next level"

My dad has used those words a million times.

Even my university lecturers used those words a million times!

So If I say

"Move over"

"Cross over"

"Word up"

Someone will come and accuse me of plagiarism?

You are intellectually retarded!!

I believe you are a school dropout so you don't understand the illegality in plagiarism. I'm very sure you don't have an idea what intellectual property means.

It has come to public notice that the APC's "Next Level" slogan was copied from the Rex Institute.

As shared by "Mr Fact" himself, Reno Omokri, this is not the first time APC will be committing such crime.

What is your view Nairalanders cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

First of all, is PDP not guilty of same. Trump used "Lets Make America Work Again". Was it not from there PDP derived theirs and changed America to Nigeria. This Reno guy is actually brilliant but painfully channels his brillance into unmeaningful things. Is it the logo that will Make Atiku or Buhari do well. U is obviously so shallow minded for his own personal interest cos he has shares if Atiku wins. What has he (Reno) done for people. I only hear him attack the current administration and nothing else

Make America great again was Trump's campaign slogan, as usual, Atiku stole it word for word!

Billions of people have uttered the two words, Next Level all over the world today, so what's special that this jobless pastor had to use all the search engines on the internet just to discredit it?
"Make America Great Again", "Get Nigeria Working Again"
How are those two slogans 'word for word'?

Nothing to plagiarise in a world or two. But the obvious is "let's make America work again" by trump which PDP just plagiarised.
What is plagiarism?
the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement( https://www.ox.ac.uk/students/academic/guidance/skills/plagiarism?wssl=1#). Just five letters is detected by some plagiarism software talkless of this posted.

What is sad, is that with so much resource at its disposal, they can not come up with a vote slogan or intellectually come up with their own campaign symbol.

Billions allocated to Media and E-media

Armed with more than 3 well read Nigerians

Plus an army of BMC.

This is just wrong on all front.

The Rex Institute really? Mostly for kids and challenged children.

It is like stealing candy from a little child.

But of course we have a country with leaders and occupiers of position with no iota of shame, so do not be surprise at their proud rebuttal or outright genuflection.

Rex Institute copied NEXT LEVEL from Vine Branch Church, Moloka, Ibadan, Oyo State, which used it as the theme of the church's anniversary in the year 2000.

Go and check

Give it to Reno again. In fact the guy is simply the antidote for all APC lies, deceit, fallacies and propaganda. No wonder the zombies so much hate him because he keep smashing them left, right and centre.

How can a band of clueless people who have no creative/critical thinking or innovative ability of their own take Nigeria to the " Next Level"? So they're no more confident of "Change" and "Progress" that Bola Tinubu advocated sef.I weep for Nigeria.

It can only takes a lost and dead humanity to be an APC member.Of course they may have failed to give credit to the original owners. So can the Rex Institute sue these idiots for violating their logo brand.

he that knows not, but thinks he knows when he knows he knows not is a fool forever .. reno just play on wailers intelligence anytime he wants .. most youth wonnt read not to talk of making research ...
next level is just a project more like a course ... a course does not have or carry a logo ,, all it simply requires is give it a title.
next level can not be plagiarized neither can the font style ...the only thing that could have been plagiarized without acknowledgement is rex institute logo itself... beside in early 2000 yinka ayefele released next level album ...did he also plagiarized rex institute "next level" grin

You kinda lost me though you seemed to be towing some good logic initially. Why do I say so?

Obviously, Reno misrepresented the facts by not stating that it was simply the insignia of the Winthrop University/Rex Institute project logo that was taken in entirety - bad enough - and not anything conceptually as it concerns Rex Institute's version of "Next Level". But that in itself is a great offense!

What became of the"Change Begins With Me" project albeit allegedly stolen? Even the project logo for that endeavour was dismal talk less the actual campaign. This is the ripple effect/chain reaction of an ill-prepared administration and such colossal fails would be their staple output.

Away from the digression, the "Next Level" stylization is the same with just hue difference colour-wise. So, in this context at least, "Next Level" was indeed plagiarized font style inclusive.

"Next Level" as a coinage is not exclusive to anyone but with the other creative assets matching, that is a great indictment on a government at the federal level even if not the core idea.

And who is to say the entire project wasn't lifted sef?

The 2007 ( or 2008) The redeemed Christian Church of God convention was themed "The next level".

Are they also guilty of plagiarism too??
If not that your parents' investments on you are collosal waste, is " THE next level " the same as "next level"? Was any logo plagiarized in RCCG's case? Since you lack intellectual capabilities, you can't understand what intellectual theft means.
