Hey!!!

How you?

Sorry, what religion do u practise?

I asked because I saw u talk abt religion in a way that seems u were attacking religion which makes u look like u are against religion

Yes I am against the European and Arab versions of God.

I believe in God and he exists, but not what the Europeans and Arabs told us. Which is the reason our continent is where it is today.

Both European (Christianity) and Arab (Islam) version
of God, killed, forced people to accept their God, raped, and most importantly took us as SLAVES. That's the most he heneous crime that all Africans should never forget.

The fact that all those religions perceived us as mere slaves should make each and every African relook into their adopted religion. Arabs even still practice slavery today. If you continue to practice a religion that committed this heneous crime to your race, you need help.

I don't believe in a God who condones those acts.

I was raise Catholic, but as I got to understand the history of these two religions ( Christianity and Islam), I cut ties with Christianity.

Any religion that is guilty of African slavery does not deserve to be practiced by Africans.

I don't care about Buddhism, Sikhism, etc. They were never directly involved in Africa and they never forced anyone to practice their religions.

I believe in God only whose existence is not narrated by Arabs, Europeans, Indians, Chinese etc. I believe in my own understanding of God.

Well most of our views are similar, but sometimes we differ.

We both believe in God and pray hard, but we have no longer have a church that we affiliate to. Sundays we just relax at home and enjoy each others company.

God already told women to ensure that their head is not covered when they are praying.

1 Corinthians 11:5
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

When the Bible said women shouldn't cover their head when praying, it is talking about covering their head with any material at all. God has already given her natural hair to help her cover her head.

1 Corinthians 11:15
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Isn't it funny that women of nowadays cover their hair not even with scarf but with hair dedicated to idols? How do you expect their prayers to be answered?

Jesus resurrected on Sunday and the Bible records that his disciples did gather on Sundays.

God didn't say women shouldn't cover their head. From 1Corinthians 11:5 which you quoted, isn't it clear to you there that apostle Paul admonished Christian women to cover their head while praying or prophesying? What is wrong with a woman who covers her head with a scarf or veil Where are you even getting your messages from

Please tell us where the Bible records that Jesus' disciples did gather on Sundays

Head covering spoken of in that chapter is not scarf or veil but natural long hair. Please read the entire chapter for understanding.

As for Christians gathering on Sundays, I will explain better when I write an article about Christmas.

1Corinthians 11:6 (AMP) "For if a woman will not wear [a head] covering, then she should cut off her hair too; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her head shorn or shaven, let her cover [her head]."

Do you mean that the apostle was saying that "if a woman doesn't wear a hair, she should cut off her hair too??" C'mon, that will be tautology. But if we see it this way, "if a woman doesn't wear a head covering (which is a scarf, veil, cap etc) then she should cut off her hair too.."

What makes you think that in an event of males and females, if a prayer is about to be made, the MC or whatever tells the males wearing a cap to pull it off. They can put it on after the prayer. But the women are required to cover their hair with a scarf, handkerchief etc..

Like I said before, I don't know where you're getting your messages from cry cry

Stay away from Bible versions other than the King James Version. The Amplified version you used has led you astray. I told you to read the entire chapter because in verse 15 it says a woman's hair is given unto her for a covering. But you think the covering the chapter speaks of is veil or scarf.
