That's what I used. Immediately the cord fell off, I started using vaseline. Some people use mentholathum
I know about mentholatum tho.

Good evening mamas, please how do I make my breast milk come out. I put to bed yesterday via CS. Been putting baby to suckle but nothing yet. Took pap and pepper soup today. I don't want baby to get used to formula.

Hello sabi mamas,
Can colic start after 8 weeks. I don't understand my DS. He suddenly became cranky yesterday evening crying unusually. He's a calm boy, as long as he's fed and full, he doesn't disturb. He cues and smiles. But all of a sudden he started crying. Wouldn't want to be lifted off the shoulder. Sounds like he's groaning/pushing from the inside. At first I thought he wanted to pop cos he pops like twice in a week. And he had bn having poo stained diaper.
Then he pooed twice but little quantity each time. The quantity of the two poops didn't add up to one bowel movements he usually does.
Could this be colic? This is my second child. My first started with signs of colic even before a week. What do i do. I'm fagged out. Help a confused mom.

I'm a TTM and it took 2 days for me to begin flowing well.
Don't put yourself under undue pressure. Keep putting baby to breast, sleep well, don't fret and eat well.
If you have a manual pump, you can try to use it too.

Good luck

Just a glass or 2 glasses of palm wine would solve your problem or buy fenugreek.

My baby is like this too. You never really know when she would eat and the constant worrying of what to prepare gives me headache. But try August secrets or Baby grubs. I'm sure he would take it. Those are our go to breakfast these days. I add chunks of fruits or mashed bananas and youghurt for extra nutrition. At least I know breakfast and cereal is sorted. It's the other two meals of the day that is a constant yoyo. I hope they outgrow it soon.

eksbabe:
I dont know what to do to this my son to get him to eat. It is always a struggle whenever we are about to feed. It’s like a seasonal thing, we can go a whole month struggling with food and the next he is taking his food willingly. One sure thing however is that, i always chase him when it is meal time.
I am looking to try this August Secret food because i have heard good reviews but i still fear that he will still struggle with it. He does this with all kinds of food ranging from cereals, purees to normal food and swallow sef.
Mums please what can i do to help him eat? I play all kinds of video when it is time to eat and even sing songs but it doesnt seem to work.
He eats at creche but i have never really asked if he takes it willingly.
He has never been a big baby so his weight is just there, not underweight sha. He is 16 months.

Does she hold things to stand even if her feet is not firmly planted? My Dd used to be like that although she crawled fine just that her feet would not be 100% on the floor and she did not walk on time. We saw an orthopaedic surgeon who recommended some sort of specialised shoe we had to buy from US but before we could even order for it she started walking perfectly and now I long for the days she was not walking. Lol. Anyways what I'm trying to say is see an orthopaedic surgeon for proper diagnosis

Blissfulfruit:
Gud day mamas, pls i need help concerning my 13months old daughter, she doesn't put her feet firmly on any surface since birth, even wen held upright, she is not crawling yet nor standing but she sits well and play very well, hv been to three different reowned pediatrician based on recommendation in benin and warri and they all attributed it to fear after series of test and examination but I'm worried because if u trow her up she doesn't exhibit any sign of fear, and even if it fear atlest she shud be able to put her feet down wen held upright. Pls sabi mamas with experience help me.sori for d long post.

You've already tried so many things so maybe it's time to calm down and find out what works for her skin. For now just moisturize and leave it alone. Try sebamed or Aveeno soap, no dettol and their likes and no creams and lotions. Also try feeding her lots of milk, fruits and vegetables. Since it started post weaning, she might be lacking some of those nutrients that are usually good for the skin.

she might have an undiagnosed food allergy.

remove all dairy based products (including eggs) as well as any food containing nuts completely from her diet for 8 weeks and see if there is any improvement.

she can get her protein from other sources such as chicken and beef.

another food group that might be responsible is seafood (fish, prawns, crayfish, etc). some children are allergic to seafood.

Grape water has been banned. So u can use peppermint water or buy bittercola peel soak in water ovèr night.then start giving him. Ur baby will be fine .. ... my Opinion.

Thanks ma. I will try and use sebamed soap for her cos I have heard a lot of good reviews about it, besides aveeno is not really common in my area. I will also up her fruits intake from now. Thank you once again
