you could have said you disagree instead of saying not true. What i wrote was my experience and it was not even up to 10mins. The interview process too in Nigeria is typically less than 10mins. So i know what i am saying, its just to let whoever wants to apply not feel entitled because you are a canadian PR. maternal: |

jydexaus:On point! how much work experience in canada is required to show sufficient ties as a PR to apply for US Visa? |
| Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by behati: 7:58am On Nov 23, 2018 |
mikkyphp:There's really no hard and fast rule. The VO would likely assess your situation holistically and decide to or not issue a visa. |

jydexaus:Are you comparing a Nigerian national to a Canadian PR when trying to get a U.S visa ? Your experience isn't reality though. |

maternal:As a PR, Please can I show proof of employment outside Canada as I am currently working in Nigeria but would like to apply for my US visa in Canada. The reason is that my family is based in Canada and I would like us to apply together next month when I visit Canada. Albeit one of my children is a Canadian. |

I have never had to do a back and forth with anyone on nairaland since i have being on this platform since 2005 and i am not going to start now. It is distasteful for you to be so sure of what isn't your experience. I related my experience and you are saying its not reality. very funny. Anyway you may choose to believe whatever it is you want to believe. I was asked the same questions being asked at the US embassy in Nigeria. I was asked why i didnt renew in nigeria since my visa expired in 2016 and i stated my reason. I was asked about what i do and how long i have being in canada. The questions usually asked in Nigeria is no different from these. I am still reiterating the fact that being a PR doesnt make getting a US visiting visa automatic. maternal: |

you nailed it because i wasn't working at the time of the interview and i told the VO so, even though my wife is working and we were granted the visa. It mostly depends on the disposition of the VO. behati: |

Claire40:Jumia is far. Stroll down to the big grocery store close to your house and make friends there. Even better if you have a particular customer you've been shopping with (shop or market). They'll be more than happy to dash or sell you cartons. Except you particularly don't want used/grocery cartons sha. Cc newmum0615 |

To those who have used Egypt airlines, how many times were you served food on board? Someone who just landed said Ethiopian airlines served six times from Lagos to YYZ. Food is key in this long journey |
