cheesy

That's why we recruited you. We gave you a job so that we can monetize you. People serve their country here in America too. I haven't seen any soldier lamenting like this before.

Which chapter is this written in your book of lamentation?

Unprofessional army.

Stop it bro. With your low IQ, you cannot be in America, even if you were born in America, you will probably be in prison right now, because there is no way you can make it in a competitive world with your IQ of 48. So in short you are typing from your village somewhere in North.

Always keep quiet if you have nothing to say..

I am surprised that soldiers allowed politicians (Bloody civilians!) to be using their personnel to play politics

I need a sincere general to form a group of some soldiers and kill all these useful politicians

Fight Boko Haram bumper to bumper

Rule Nigeria for four years, clean the system and conduct a free and fair election afterwards

Let's face it, democracy is not working in Nigeria for now and can never work due to tribal and religious differences

I have been suggesting this for a long time now.

Oga, go and sleep
It took the sophisticated US 10 years to kill Osama Bin Laden
The wars in Yemen, Iran and Afghanistan are still on even with the US directly assisting those countries
My point is, it takes more than aiming to stop suicide bombers
Yes, it requires a lot of intelligence gathering, sophisticated hardware, strategy and commitment
Nigerian politicians are about to ruin Nigerian Army, the only working institution we have in this country
Democracy has done a lot of damage in Nigeria

Have you ever heard of a US army base being overrun by terrorists? NA are all bunch of cowards who only grow wings when dealing with innocent unarmed civilians.

[quote author=kurt09 post=73247969]The Nigerian army has finally broken its silence on the attacks on Nigerian soldiers, the most recent in Metele, Borno state.

The deadly attack on the 157 task force battalion stationed in Metele left scores of soldiers dead while some are still missing.

Some estimates put the casualty figure at over 100, but the army while commenting on Friday, failed to divulge the death toll.

The army’s statement read: “The attention of the NA has been drawn to several social media, print, electronic and online publications about the recent attack on 157 Task Force Battalion at Metele. Whilst it is true that there was an attack on the location on 18 November 2018, it has however, become necessary to correct several misinformation being circulated with regards to this unfortunate event.

“It is important for the public to note that the NA has laid down procedures for reporting incidents that involve its personnel who fall casualty in action. Out of respect for the families of our gallant troops, the NOKs are first notified before any form of public information so as to avoid exacerbating the grief family members would bear, were they to discover such from unofficial sources.

“Furthermore, it suffices to observe that several social media, print and online publications have been brandishing false casualty figures as well as circulating various footages of old and inaccurate BHT propaganda videos and alluding same to be the attack on 157 Task Force Battalion. Whilst it is understandable how such misinformation can spread in this era of social media frenzy, the spurious circulation of some of these videos only contribute to further propagate the propaganda intent of the terrorists; to misinform the populace and portray themselves as what they are not. So far, the situation is that the location is under control as reinforcing units have been able to repel the terrorists and stabilize the situation.

“The NA sincerely wishes to thank the various arms of government, MDAs and sister security agencies that have stood with her in these trying times; by commiserating with the families of the fallen heroes who have paid the supreme price for the defence of our dearly beloved country. The necessary support being given the NA by the Federal Government and the goodwill of the Nigerian populace will undoubtedly continue to spur the NA towards the ultimate defeat of the highly degraded BHTs.”

Following the latest attack, President Muhammadu Buhari dispatched Mansur Dan-Ali, minister of defence, for an emergency meeting with Chadian President Idris Deby.

Imbecilic response. Its unfortunate soldiers are dying in this manner and one stupid PRO will come on air to demonstrate his senselessness. If you like, do not tell Buhari's failed government to buy modern weapons for your people. Keep coming on air to tell us how imbecilic you are.

I just finished watching a video of the camp after the attack.

The newly deployed soldiers are protesting and are already packing their loads to leave the camp.

Some of their words:

"Its a lie, No be our blood them go use"

"Does our ogas think we are fools"

"All these are obsolete tanks bought during Shagari regime. It fires only 2 shots and that's all".

"If una wan stay, make una stay. Me, I do go o".

There's a massive sabotage in the Nigeria military from two camps.

1. Those in the hierarchy who embezzle their allowances and procure obsolete military wares for the NA.

2. Those who are sympathetic and informants to the BK terrorists.

I'm still in shock from the two videos I watched today. During the attack and the aftermath.

Pls, link to the aftermath video

Boko haram that has been technically defeated attacking an army base and overrunning it.

Buhari no promise una say an three months he go take clear them? Instead he released some of them and recruited into the army so they can get more training with tax payers money.

The blood of those soldiers is on the head of buhari and fools who helped him to power.

You should be more reasonable than this. The government you support have clearly shown failure at almost everything it does, but that doesn't matter to you, because you're programmed to always make excuses for them; what you focus on are those who are celebrating the sad new as though they caused the bloodshed.

May your life be ruled the way Buhari is ruling this country.

But your own lives in the zoo are already forever intertwined with bad news. Tell me the last time any good news emanated from the zoo under Jubrin? From sports, to technology to education, to everything except the citizens' individual achievements based on solo and unaided efforts.

Brandishing false figures or not does not invalidate the fact that over 50 soldiers lost their lives. That's to be very conservative.
And I thought the Army hierarchy have always claimed they have defeated the BH's What contradiction!

The truth is Humans are evil. Especially institutions, companies etc.

If you die they will even disown U that you don't work for them, oil companies are specialist in denying corpse. I think Buhari led Army is doing the same, very soon we will have casual army personnel that they can deny easily as Oil Multinationals do.

Bros...l watched the video last night and l couldn't sleep..

You should see the sheer might of Boko Haram as they fire ..

They were shooting our soldiers point blank and at a point, the soldiers just laid down to be shot knowing it was the end.

I cried myself to sleep and haven't gotten over the gory sight of our soldiers lifeless bodies ..

Sadly, no one would be able to gather their bodies for burial because those Boko men don't seem to be leaving for evacuation to take place..

We don't have a country anymore l swear..
