It's a none issue. Meaning it's not an issue.,

It's trivial.

The only reason to divorce a woman is infidelity and that is if she did not repent or change her ways. The option is up to you. If you can't overlook no salt because of a six figure monthly upkeep, then I wonder if you can overlook more serious issues?

In all, overlook the way most women behave because love covers a multitude of sins and disregard the amount you spend at home. It's not important.
thank u ma brother. If u follow us na die u dey oo. Hahahaha

If you have children, then it would be irresponsible for her to have an empty Kitchen. If no Children yet and she is alone most of the time she can decide not to cook regularly, eat in her friends house, eat junk food, so as to save some of the feeding money you give to her to buy some of the trivial things women love like Gold, makeup and cloths. Please note that these trivial things are common to majority of women even the good ones, they are ready to starve to get some of the latest, if they don't have them they will not be happy.

This post is a big joke. So because there wasn't any salt at home, you want a divorce? You must be a lazy man sir. Getting a pack of salt worth N100 won't do you any harm

but seriously just because of salt u wanna divorce?

Don't say just because of salt?
Something is wrong somewhere.
Why is she not doing what she is supposed to be doing. Whom does she spend the money for the house upkeep on? Maybe one jobless young man is servicing her Kongo or she is spending the money on something that she does not want her husband to know.
Mr husband try and find out what she spends your money on. It may also be something that will be of good to your family. But try to find out.

OP, u must be a Muslim. Muslims men divorce their wives when they please.
Salt issue is just an excuse.

So I'm really pained. I am a highly mobile kind of businessman but I have my family stationed somewhere in the North West. I send my silly wife a six figure monthly upkeep to ensure she takes care of the home properly. I got home a few days ago.

Today, she went out and I decided to go prepare some boiled rice and beans for the house. Can you believe that this woman does not have ordinary salt and vegetable oil in her kitchen? Women can be so unreliable and incompetent I tell you. This is all the work she does and she can't get simple salt in her kitchen.

Should I just divorce her? I hate incompetence. I need advice from y'all. Stupid or not. I don't give a frigging rat's arse!

The females just come here and start practicing their feminism,
Nigerian females can be really disgusting with their fish brains,
Salt is something that lasts a long time before getting exhausted even if it's the N70 own you buy
As a kitchen user, talk less of a house wife, you would be aware before a week or two that your salt is almost exhausted so for she not to have salt in the house just tells me your kitchen output has been coming off a lot less than you imagine owing to some reasons you are yet to discover

Don't mind all this physically and mentally poverty stricken girls coming to defend and even insult you
They are all good for nothing apart from sex which they'll want to destroy you for.

before a man can decide to divorce his beloved wife there are underlying behaviors or attitudes she must have been exhibiting before this particular one broke the ice.

Before y'all attack the op. Know that's he's not complaining of lack of salt. He complaining of an empty kitchen, even if salt no dey at least other things suppose dey. And perhaps, take into consideration that there might have been other issues before this. Bigger issues I mean.

Weigh your options, go through serious thought about the void she'll leave when she's gone and how you can adequately fill it without creating another problem then divorce her asap.

Op how far. Before this issue of an empty kitchen, were there other bigger issues in your home overtime? It's only the folk wearing the shoe that know where it pains him. Probably you've been bottling up angst for sometime and see this as an opportunity to release. Will like to know please.

Don't think there is any other foodstuff in the house, na why the guy dey vex and there might be other underlying issues. It pisses me off that folks think salt is the issue at hand

I don't think its just about the slippers dear rather the disobedience, not listening to the man, overlooking him and brushing off his plea not to use his slippers. I despise a lady that doesn't heed to good instructions or advice from her husband. You can't trust her.
