I've been to some airports in the US. Washington Dulles, LAX and LIT to be precise. You pay for the use of trolley. Stop shaming Nigeria.

Yes I have not been to those you mentioned. But all the 6 airports I have been to, trolley is free and immigration officers are not begging for money

I actually do not understand the noise on this payment of trolley at lagos airport as if it is only done in Nigeria. You pay for trolley at any of USA airport (JFK New york, NEWARK int. airport and so ..)

If you pay thousands of Naira for air ticket and you can't pay N150 for trolley to carry your luggage, nobody will stop you if you put them on your head! WTF!

That service is concessioned. It is being provided by SAHCO, a privately quoted company.

My most recent trip outside the country is to Manchester in September 2018. At Manchester Airport, I paid 1GBP to get the hanger to deactivate the hanger and free the trolley for me to use.......
While I know some airports do it free, many airport do charge for trolley.........

Well, you can say what you like, but mind you, of all the six airports I have been to, only MMA collect money for trolley.

I was even asked for roger when I went to ease myself, about 6 of them were practically begging for money. Shame catch me.

Only for departure. Arrival has unlimited free trolley.

Our airports are a real source of embarrassment to our country, and a huge cause for concern.
A friend traveled through Abuja airport two days ago and they immigration guys extorted him for taking his Pam sandals with him. when he called to tell me I just weak.

In Manchester a Nigerian put in the 1pound for me and when I returned it I got free 1 pound .

Been to China, Turkey and London but can't remember paying for trolley. I'm an ijebu man.

To weight at Heathrow is free for one corner ..

All those in Position of Authority, including Airport Officials are all SHAMELESS AND OCCULTIC. Imagine the freedom with which they ask you for money before using the trolley. I bet you.. Nothing lasting will be done about this shameful acts

Abuja airport if they push the trolley for you, it is #400. if you push it yourself it is #250 abi 150

Just pay for the bloody trolley!!, All those people who collects dem trolleys, clean and make the trolleys Available for you/us to use next time are not Idiots.

The day I went to pick my big sister, once she arrived and saw the guy pushing her trolley, I asked the guy to stop and hand over to me but he refused, lol, i left him to continue pushing it till our driver came from the car park. My sister asked me to give him 5h instead I gave him 200, nigga refused to collect the money, i didn't even look at his face, I just pocked my money while he left angrily.
He should come to Bodija market Ibadan and see strong men carrying bags of rice for peanut.

Most luggage these days have wheels, so if you travel light like me you don't really need the airport trolley except you are travelling with kids.

Hey, that means you are yet to travel. So many other airports do charge too!

The only issue is the way it is being managed in Nigeria. As it is always argued, the problem with Nigeria is management.

Not true, you also pay for trolley in major US airports e.g. JFK, LGA, EWR, etc.

I really don't have an issue with paying for Trolley but there should be a standard fare. I have been to a few airports that you don't have to pay for trolley: Houphet Boigny, Abidjan, Entebbe, Uganda, Oliver Tambo, Jo'burg, Incheon, South Korea, Philly Airport, Heathrow.

However, I have paid for trolley in Boston for 1 dollar.

i was shocked the day they asked me to pay for that. This is crazy. they all know what they are doing there.the ogas are aware very well....if they have opportunity they will ask you to pay for the ground that you are matching.

The day Abuja airport, they said I will pay, they didn't even allow non-flyers to enter the general lounge. My mum was just behind the scanner watching my bags. I was taking them one after another to the boarding area
