I got 14% (13.99% after the bank's commission I believe) for 364 days tenor with FBN on primary market. I usually do secondary market but the highest available when I wanted to invest last week was 350 days @ 13% and seeing 14.45% for 364 days, I thought I should rather do primary market and it paid off. Thanks t-bills family grin

Same here. Debited on 26th November. I received credit alert Interest of N808. 00 yesterday, isn't shocking shocked from millions? I did not request for upfront payment O, I only requested "reinvest interest" and I requested for %14.4500 shortly before I receive debit alert of N808. 00 same yesterday O. So where do they get N808. 00 interest on the invested millions? I don't just understand what's wrong with First Bank. Ordinary acknowledgment of the % they successfully bid for me in the primary market they didn't acknowledge undecided . I have sent an email to my relationship manager.

Did you ask for 14% in your instructions?
And did you invest 50m plus?

The N808.00 you got is the remaining balance not up to N1,000 for reinvestment after the whole calculations... You know? Because TB is done in 1,000's not hundreds (multiples of N1,000).

I sent a reminder yesterday 28/11/2018 and i stated my bid 14.4500

Shortly after i sent a reminder, i discovered that the amount invested was debited on 26/11/2018, which means they debited my account on 26/11/2018 before i send a reminder yesterday on 28/11/2018. That means if their bid is successful and much more lesser than my stated bid they could play the game and claim that i informed them my bid late? Or is there a way they could trick and claim they actually bid sucessfully on 26/11/208 when auction is actually 28/11/2018 worst case today 29/11/2018? grin What do you think?

So long as it is primary market, First Bank normally debit and put it into custody as soon you apply and the money is ready in your account I have not heard or experienced anything contrary for now. Maybe why they delayed before even deducting it on the 26 was because they couldn't not treat the day you applied.

I think that not minding the rate you wrote.. These days if your money is not upto 50m you cannot bid on your own. The rate you will get is what First Bank bidded and succeeded.

They will not claim anything it is either they have bidded for you at their own rate because it is primary market and your money is not upto 50M or they will return your money back to you. In this case since you stated earlier that you have seen the N808. 00 interest it means it has already been invested for you @ first bank bid rate.

Anyways you can only know the true position of things when you get your proof of investment..

We have handled every angle of TB on this thread, just to read it up is the problem, Nigerians don't read including me.

That wasn't handled anywhere sir.

That's why i attempted handling it.

I don't know why they are always eager when a customer wants to do fixed deposit but would become reluctant and discouraging when the customer wants to do TBills. I once did a fixed deposit for 1.3m and the interest Zenith bank gave me was a mere 6% when the least one can get with TBills is over 10% yet they still wanted me to continue doing FD with them and I flatly rejected it. Shylock people, they will offer interest of 6% to investors yet will turn around to charge sky-high interest on people that take loan from them.
Biafra is here , and you’re investing in Nigeria treasury bills.

We are here strictly for financial talks and not politics. Even Ghanaians, Brits, Americans, Togolese etc also invest in TBills, so I don't know what your point is. But if you insist on going down the road with me on this, then you can meet me in the politics section, though I strongly advise against that to avoid stories that touch.

Ipob sympathisers are so easy to spot on Nairaland these days. Lmao
I should go to politics section to discuss “Biafra is here and you’re investing in Nigeria treasury bills “ ?

It's obvious that you're a re.tar.ded juvenile, albeit one who is frustrated and hopeless but I'm not the cause of your sorry state. What has IPOB got to do with me investing in TBills?? Did I tell you that I'm a member of IPOB? Let's even assume I'm a member, and so what?? Why are you so dense and foo.lish?? Is your stvpidity factory fitted?? Others are here discussing about their investments in TBills and this village riffraff is here talking trash?? FYI, for as long as those who want Biafra are still in Nigeria, they still have every right to use Nigerian state resources and you don't have a single atom of privilege than they do. Even if Nigeria divides today, the breakaway parts can still invest in any of the emerging countries TBills, but I know you're so illiterate with the IQ of an ant to know that.
Arguing with someone who is obviously a psychopath disgusts me. I repeat, go and vent your frustrations on those that destroyed your destiny and made you useless and a social misfit because I'm not the cause of your worthlessness.
Hahaha cheesy cheesy
