BS BS!!!

It's the end of November and I wouldn't want the month to end without my BS submitted.

Where do I start from sef? Okay, let me start by giving God all the glory for His enduring mercies. I lost my baby at 24 weeks last year June after losing aminiotic fluid for close to 2 weeks. I had PPROM and concluded that it was the infection I had in pregnancy and failed to treat.

After that month, I thought I could take time off to get over my loss but was surprised when my period started playing rough play with me around November. Then in January this year, I joined NL TTC thread where I met lovely ladies and was encouraged to carry out some tests.

I went to the hospital but after the series of tests I was asked to do, I took the other option by sowing seed and trusting God to come through for me.
And so in the midst of erratic menstrual cycle, fibroid and cyst, God remembered me again.

I would say the pregnancy journey was a smooth ride cos I ate and enjoyed myself. At a point, I remembered what happened last year and thought of going for cervical cerclage to keep baby in but ended up trusting God to keep baby in.

And so at 37 weeks, I started getting tired. Baby weight, vjay pressure, bom bom bone pain became the order of the day.
Exactly on my EDD, I started having mild and inconsistent stomach upset. At about 7:30 pm, the contractions became more persistent but irregular. At around after 10pm, hubby packed my hospital bags and other stuff to the car and off to vigil we went.

Getting to the vigil, I wasn't myself anymore. My pastor's wife told me to stay behind and dance for God to bring on more contractions but I couldn't hold it off anymore. My pastor prayed for me and we headed straight to the hospital from there.

On reaching there, I was checked and was already dilated to 4cm. Next thing 5cm and before I could say Jack Robinson, I got to 6cm. Doctor was exicted and ruptured my water to encourage more contractions and dilation. And then Satan rose up.

Sisters for over 8 hours I remained at that 6cm. They finally induced me and that was when I finally understood why people go crazy when induced. I begged for help no way. I told them to turn the drip off but no one would listen. I couldnt reach my husband cos no one is allowed in the labour ward. I begged for epidural and was told the guys that handle such don't come on weekends. I was fed up and tired and wanted to opt for CS. But then I started feeling sleepy.

I would fall asleep in between contractions and when the wicked ones hit me, I will cry out in pain. The doctors had already made up their minds to take me in for CS once I finished the drip and that was when God sent a tough female doctor in.

She told me that she wouldn't allow me go through this rigorous inducement only to end up with CS. She got another drip and doubled the oxytocine. That was when I left Earth and went to hell.

Before I knew it, I was dilated to 10cm with wicked contractions. When it came time for me to push, I would push and nothing seemed to be happening. I was tired having being in serious labour from 10pm the previous night. One of the midwives asked the one assisting her to check for my baby's heartbeat with a hand electronic Doppler and after checking she said no heartbeat. She asked her to check again and she repeated the same thing. Hmm... I didn't want to believe her. Then she was asked to get the one that was hooked to my tommy all the while and even before she could finish placing it, my baby's heartbeat was heard strongly.

That was when they started hitting my thighs cos they said I wanted to kill my baby since baby was already close to my vjay. Anyway, I mustered strength and pushed with everything in me and baby's head came out with 2 cords tied to his neck. The nurse screamed and cut it and with one final push, my baby came into the world screaming.

I was latered sutured because baby tore me. Oh mehn, that was another very painful experience even with the doctor injecting the place with pain reliever.

Anyway, I give God all the glory for not allowing me go through this journey without seeing the result.
The Lord will make it easy for all the remaining November mamas and our December mamas that are ready to start dropping it like it's hot

To all our GTC mamas, the Lord who has put this laughter in my heart will do the same for you.

Mothers please help a sister : Am a new mum, I delivered 6 weeks ago. I had sex without protection , since then I been afraid of being pregnant. Please which drug should I take to prevent pregnancy though I have not seen my period yet.

If it happened last night, try postinor.
If it wasn't last night, I don't know again maybe wait 2 weeks then take a test and take it from there.

6 weeks is too early to be playing rough play kwanu. I doubt you're pregnant tho since your period isn't back yet. It's possible tho but the chances are slim. Try to get condoms or go on birth control before you become mama ejima.

pls I 've a problem..I'm a first Time mum...My due date was last week Thursday...Doctor says I should come to be induced next tomorrow I.e thiThursday...'ve been reading stuffs nd enlightened mysef on what to expect and all..

The problem is my mum is aganist being induced..she's bringing God into it..saying I should wait for my baby to come out naturally and that doctor doesn't want to admit he miscalculated. .lol
I did 3 diff.scans that came out 22/21 of November...so the issue of doctor miscalculating isn't there...It's messing with me...and I don't think it good for my peace of mind..I intend going on Thursday to be induced...pls mum's hope I'm on the right track..?

Let the BA roll back to back, God will make it easy for everyone of us.
A big congratulations to mama babestell on the arrival of your lo, may she be all that you prayed for and many more.
I trust that our hospital bags are packed, we can still go through it once more to be sure we are not leaving anything behind.
We can start incorporating squats, walks and stairs climbing gradually in our daily activities before our Edd, I'm sure it's all going to worth in the end.
While we wait the arrival of our Los let's seize this opportunity to stock up on kitchen and other supplies as we might not be able to do that in a very long time.

For everyone one of us that will be going into the delivery room this month including our November and January porters, it shall be congratulations to us all with both mother and child a live with our families rejoicing.

Ok thanks. i pray this one will be easier for me. Each time i remeber what i passed through, my heart skips. Someone talked me into that epidural. my husband and i begin to reason it. This is my second pregnancy. I lost that first one due to prolonged labour.

So sorry, try using a hospital with enough hands and equipment.

Good evening mums in the house, i know this isnt the best place to put this as we are all expecting but situation of things caused it, I'm teamdecember, as December is just few hours away, if tears can bring about somethings, i wouldn't be here making this request.
As i am now the only thing i can boast of having is the hospital materials (not even all) ve not gotten ANY baby things. and just recently ve been advised against VBAC meaning I'm going for cs, most likely i would be given d list of theatre pack at my next clinic, what i need most right now is baby things for a girl(even socks isn't too small) . And to our highly connected mums, pls I'm in dire need of a job, i don't wish my enemy what im passing through, i finished service early october. i was a teamoctober in 2015 though with my old moniker. any other information will be provided on request, we won't be put to shame. safe and easy delivery to all December mums

I read up some of your posts and I felt that you indeed needs help but I don't know the kind of work you are hoping to get at this point that won't be stressful to you and the chances of getting one that you are heavy is very slim.

I pray that the Lord show you his mercies and turn things around for you. I pray that Him alone who can do what no mortal can do show his mighty and glorious works in your life.
