If only you know that the family just stripped the bank of an asset to cut its losses and make a run for it leaving the downgrade for Access Bank to take over in satisfaction of the debt owed it by Diamond Bank when it borrowed from the former to stay afloat!

I suspect he used the money for election as well as sharing money to customers in the name of loan with no collateral under 48hrs. Their risk appetite was huge. Lot of Nigerian traders saw it as an avenue to hammer and they did resulting to bad loans. Uzoma Dozie was put their as an eye to help salvage the bank coa they still got assets andnd can turn around if properly managed.

The place of systems is key in an organisation. The operating system of a bank is similar to the stem of a tree which is saddled with getting the nutrients from the base to maintain the tree and sustain its growth. Nigeria's apex bank, Central Bank of Nigeria has granted Diamond Bank Plc the approval to operate as a national bank following its application for it.

The bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Uzoma Dozie, said this in a statement signed by the bank’s Head of Media, Ezechinyere Anyanwu, on Friday in Abuja.

According to Dozie, the move was part of Diamond Bank’s strategy to focus on Nigeria’s significant opportunities.

He said that the change in the license means Diamond Bank could expand product services to Nigerian consumers.

Suspicion no matter how heightened cannot take the place of cold and hard facts which are: 1. Uzoma is a misfit as MD. 2. Uzoma sleeps with both married and unmarried female staff and keeps a well-stocked wine bar in his office. 3. The indices are bad! 4. Dig for more and you’ll keep your life savings away from DB until it is taken over by Access Bank.

Diamond Bank remains one of the best bank i can bet on any day any time. I wish them the best in wat eva decision they take to make things right.

I opened Diamond HIDA account since a week now...they sent me my account number buh they refuse to credit the account with the 100k I opened the account with....several mails, calls has been ur account will be credited soonest
