Dear Nairalanders, I have a new Twitter page I would want to grow, but the question is how.

Apart from celebrity and top personalities handles, I have seen Twitter handles with huge followers list and the question going through my mind is do this guy's achieve such success.

To gain a lot of followers, use follow trains.
But a lot of followers doesn't mean a lot of engagement, that won't get you any significant engagement, Twitter won't give that to you. People often make that mistake that a lot of followers means a lot of engagement.
For engagement, join retweet groups on Twitter and even Telegram and WhatsApp. There are also gain tweets retweet groups.

If you want to grow your twitter followers, here’s something you can try.

Works like a charm if you can be consistent.

Step 1:

Create a list.

What corner of twitter do you want to be on. Tech? Gossip? Celebrity? 30+? Sport?

Find 20 huge accounts in your niche. And add them to a list.

These are your gateway to more followers.

Step 2:

Comment on their tweets. Do at least 10 comments a day.

Post outrageous comments.

So if a celeb tweeted: ‘I like eba’

If I like what I see I follow. This will mostly be what the account is about as described in the bio or reading a couple of their tweets.
