Here is an old video of D'banj giving his testimony in church after winning his first MTV award in 2007.

D'banj surprised worshippers in Cananland on Sunday 25th of November 2007 as he mounted the pulpit to testify to the goodness of the Lord and how He has blessed his music with his MTV EMA Best African Act award at Munich, Germany. He also testified about being appointed the first Nigerian United Nations youth Ambassador for peace.

The congregation greeted him with a loud/standing ovation to the dismay of church pastor. One member said "Even the Bishop doesn't get this kind of applause".
