On Tyler Perry's Acrimony, I felt really bad for the lady. She sacrificed so much and got practically nothing in return. Granted her family was against the marriage, she went ahead and married for love. She also went ahead to maintain the home for 18 good years. If the man really loved her as he claimed, he would have remembered her and all their dreams together not going ahead to have same dreams with this other woman. They both were imperfect beings at one point or the other but then no one is perfect. Communication is key in any relationship. I'm sure that if the man had mentioned his meeting with the other woman, she wouldn't have jumped to the wrong conclusion about his cheating on her a second time. Family is and will always be important besides they were trying ro help in their own little way. It's such a sad story though. May we never sow for someone else to reap in Jesus name amen.
I think the lady, has an attitude problem, taking hasty decisions , allowing her family to mess up with her head.
Well love can make one unreasonable.

Good evening mamas... this evening my baby climbed a side stool and reached for the cotton bud kept on a table and pierced her ear with it, I only ran to her when I heard her cry out so loud and saw the thing in her ear, when I brought it out I saw little blood on the cotton bud then I gave paracetamol for the pain, right now I can see dried blood in her ear, please any other person experienced something like this?? Is it a serious something? Do we have to head to the hospital tonight or is there something I can give? I am confused

My sister, am so with you on being Ijebu! When you become a parent with newly defined responsibilities, it becomes necessary o.

I hope we decide within a few days and I can plan accordingly. I just can't shake off how happy my Dad will be to have us there (esp with the baby)... that only complicates the decision for me.

If possible, take her along. Esp if it'll be a private vehicle if by road. It might be costlier but you will be more comfy and can regulate any issues unlike a public vehicle. You just take precautions when you get there as to her feeding, clothing and interactions with strangers. It's just for a few days and dad will 've super glad.

Wish you the best

Sorry about that. I'm also battling this climbing dilemma but if she's in no obvious pain, u could observe her tonight and see a doc 2mrw. These our babies are just too wonderful

Please let her get checked by a doctor so to put your mind at rest and ensure she's not in any discomfort. They enjoy climbing anything and everything as long as they can grab it.

Good evening mums in the house, i know this isnt the best place to put this as we are all expecting but situation of things caused it, I'm teamdecember, as December is just few hours away, if tears can bring about somethings, i wouldn't be here making this request.
As i am now the only thing i can boast of having is the hospital materials (not even all) ve not gotten ANY baby things. and just recently ve been advised against VBAC meaning I'm going for cs, most likely i would be given d list of theatre pack at my next clinic, what i need most right now is baby things for a girl(even socks isn't too small) . And to our highly connected mums, pls I'm in dire need of a job, i don't wish my enemy what im passing through, i finished service early october. i was a teamoctober in 2015 though with my old moniker. any other information will be provided on request, we won't be put to shame. safe and easy delivery to all December mums
Where is your location?

This sounds serious. Take her to the ENT clinic at a general hospital tomorrow, let a doctor look at the insides of the ear to make sure the ear drum is not ruptured. Pain or no pain. Same as the other mama in similar situation biko. She's still a baby, there's no way you'd know if she has reduced hearing in the ear or anything.

Please I need some clarifications, my son has jaundice, at two days he was tested and the bilirubin was 7.9mg/dl. We saw a doctor he just said its mild and we're discharged. Now I noticed the yellowish tinge in his eyes, when back to run the test today being his 6th day and the bilirubin is 9.6mg/dl. Please is it still mild zone, am no longer comfortable with the whole stuff. Can I get a photo therapy at. 9.6mg/dl. We feed well and the sunlight gives him tiny boils on his forehead. Will appreciate your input.

Giddyperson:

High wbc is how they detect infection in babies cuz the cells increase in a bid to fight off the infection. They would usually prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection but if the infection is really bad, they would admit the baby. Either way it's really common in babies, you just have to go to a good hospital and follow doctor's advice.

Thanks dear...

My life, I just bought one struggle 24k android tablet from one IG vendor (I'll look for the handle and send to you)

It comes with screen guard and a case and does the job, so far you don't intend to use it for anything other than kids stuff

My iPad heard it, they don't use to tell somebody embarassed

2007, second year of Uni. cheesy

Biko who can provide a solution for me and Giddybaby's constant fights over my phone.
Is there a toy phone thing I can buy that can download nursery rhymes.
I had two ipads before the child came along but now both of them are down with stroke. I don't even know what number of phone my current phone is, and I can't imagine what would happen when her brother comes along to join her. I want to make my phone's totally out of bounds for her.

Pls I need suggestions for any kind of children's gadgets that I can copy nursery rhymes into and that won't break on the first week.

Giddyperson, Anugod and co no 2009/2010 update? I was enjoying reading your stories

Proudmum yes I think so (you can search the thread to confirm, this has been discussed)

lauv23 please go back to the hospital, it shouldn't be increasing

Acrimony crew una doh oh. My only comment is, when we say "sow for another person to reap" what exactly are we saying? Women should learn to invest in themselves so that:

1. you don't end up staying in a useless marriage because your be all and end all is the man. Sow in your own life too plis dears
2. If you leave, weigh the situation properly and ensure you leave with your full chest because you know you will have a good life irrespective of the man and whatever he does after you leave the marriage (have money, become the president, etc), you're still confident in the choice you made

Money is not everything abeg

PS: I didn't watch the movie and don't intend to cos Tyler Perry bores me so I can't say who was right/wrong tongue tongue tongue

Morning ladies!
