Has anybody used CES (Comparative Educational Services : University of Toronto...) for ECA? I used them and sent my transcript from my school. The courier tracking shows my official transcript got there November 5 2018 (just over 4 weeks ago). But up till now my profile on their website has not changed. They have not even ticked the first stage of the evaluation process: initial review in progress. I sent them a first email, and after some hours they gave me a general reply that it takes 3 weeks or more before any changes can be seen on my profile. I then sent them another email for them to let me know if my transcript has even gotten there. This is where there didn't even reply. It's being 2 days since my last email.

Its beginning to look like it was oversabi that made me try them; I have not seen anyone in Nigeria use them. I was only scared of WES and their WAEC wahala.

Please has anyone used CES? What's your testimony?

used them myself...time from transcript to receiving ECA was a little over 2 months.....i think demand has gone up....my spouse's own is on now....Uni has sent transcript since end Oct....nothing updated .....all red.....got the info below which may help/comfort you...one from their FAQ....other is a response to my email....i begged them that I know they don't update to confirm that results have been received by post but they should please pity me and confirm that they sha have the results and they were kind enough to respond......I'm sure all is well...they will let you know if they need anything from you......

patience is the name of the game.....immigration ECA is 12 weeks from date of application and transcript receipt according to the Uni of Toronto CES website.......pele...busy yourself with gathering your application docs wink

PS: 22 Dec to 6 Jan...they are closed for Christmas break!

Simply send WES a copy of your certificate. Shikena.
First of all, I don't have the copy of my certificate, as it has not been 'issued' even though it has been 'conferred'. That's not the point I'm trying to raise but WES duplicity. Why said only transcript is needed when indeed you need the certificate too. I'm evaluating both Nigerian degree and a foreign one. It was stated on their page that I need to submit both transcript and certificate for the Nigerian degree which I did without complain, that's what I signed up for. But for them not to include master's degree certificate in the requirement is a breach of contract. If not that I've already sent and verify my undergrad degree, I would have ended the evaluation and asked for refund. Well, I'm going to my school now to send BOTH the transcript and confirmation of degree conferral again. If WES had been honest, I would have sent both from the beginning after all I'm not paying for the transcript and conferral letter, just the additional time that will be wasted is what is vexing me

Seniors,your comments on this please.

Well let me give you my own scenario...i have both been denied student visa once and a visiting visa once.

Now the first one asked if you have been denied an immigrant visa, permanent visa, visitor visa or temporary visa. I said Yes but i only included the explaination of the visitor visa as they didnt ask for student visa.

The second question asked if you have been refused a visa or a permit.....which means any type of visa and i also said yes but this time around i included explaination about both the student visa denial and the visitor visa denia.

I hope am right sha..

Just to clarify, I believe the salient words are 'denied' and 'refused. In this context, when someone is denied/refused a visa do they mean the same thing? This term confuses me oh.
Can someone please throw more light on this? Thank you

Hello all.

I'm a new member.

If one's PR application is being processed in the Accra Visa Office, how can one reach them apart from using the Web Form?

We have not received any update since we passed medicals on April 29, 2018. Our AOR is April 23,2018. My spouse is the Primary Applicant. It's almost 8 months!

Also, I would like to ask for the link used by IRCC for currency conversion.

Thank you.

I believe you have sent transcript and certificate of your Nigerian B. Sc degree and transcript of your foreign masters. What they are asking for now is the masters certificate which you don't have.

Why don't you just ask your abroad school to send WES any of those alternatives WES asked for? No need sending them the masters transcript again.
