IFearGod: There is no point debating you since you lack comprehension skills. When I mentioned slave, I am not talking about slave trade but the legal slavery that Nigerians willfully enter into in the gulf states, where they are dehumanised because they want to make money. Libya is a country of 6 million and there is nothing special about it being a welfare state. In fact, all Arab countries with oil and a small population are welfare states with most of their citizens unemployed. Your post makes sense for a people who have been mired in abject poverty, they think Libya is a paradise because the government is bribing its jobless citizens. But any clear-headed person understand what true development means. 1 Like |

Having said that people doing menial job hardly get enough money to flaunt, it is the yahoo ++++ guys, people breaking cards that come back to oppress young mind. |

IamJix: If we could do away with all forms of religion and work as a united society Nigeria will progress very very well, but nooooo, the brainwashing fed down to some people's DNA by force from the Arabs and Europeans has refused to leave them and their children. |

benzion72: Nigerian's problem is leadership And Nothing else We have fertile farmlands We have natural resources We have human resources The problem is irresponsible leadership Of over 5 decades Countries like Singapore, UAE, Qatar, even Saudi Arabia are living better than most of these Western countries How many of there citizens are rushing like refugees as Nigerians I am a well traveled man and I can tell you there is nothing special about the west. That is the mindset I want our people to have I have entered full time politics And by God's grace in no distant time Me and my crew will possess power To start introducing mind blowing kind of development in our Nation So my own children will have a better Nation And don't tell me it is impossible We are already in line Not running away to become 4th class citizen |

djon78: What is wrong you people?! Where you even born when Abacha was President? Where you alive when his death was breaking news in the evening hours? Have you forgotten how people rejoiced to that news? The average Nigerian reaction to his death was not of someone that had better policies that touched the ordinary man. I can conclude two things from your submission based on what you said about Abacha 1. You were not born/too young to understand what Nigerians were going through at the time. 2. You have a serious case of Retrograde Amnesia (a lot of you Nigerians suffer from this disorder) |

djon78:Which of the abachas are you referring to? This same man that Nigerians were cooking with saw dust during his regime, living under socio-econimic hardship? Yes, countries like China, singapore improved economically by having visionary leaders who had zero tolerance for curruption. Abacha in contrast was a tyrant. Haven't you had of the abacha loot the govt are receiving I'm batches from the Switzerland government? Abeg, which of the abachas are you talking of? Enlighten us |

djon78: Smile. Bro, if abacha could embezzle over $300million decades ago, I'm very sure he can be ranked amongst the most corrupt leaders in this country, that abacha guy is indifferent. But come to think of it, buhari is against corruption na though he promised to share the abacha loot (5k per month) to many households in some states but people are yet to see alert. However, where is the money? |

Look at this this way, here in Nigeria, assuming you are a recruiter and you get a Burundi kid with a certificate from university of bujumbura and says he has experience in this or that will you hire such person I can bet you don't even know where bujumbura is |

djon78: Brother we have farmland who stop our citizens from entering the bush and cultivate maize and reap harvest in three months. They will not do so majority are entitlement driven. The major difference between us and other developed nation is ability to individually take personal responsibility for our life without waiting for any government or individual help. Political leadership may not be able to solve all citizens problem but solve your own problem and I solve my own problem and when this is done we will half all problems solved I wish you success in your quest for political power to solve our National problem |

And he is a billionaire billionaire? Do you know the kind of money Asians are raking in here Then it is for me to leave this blessed land And go and be slave to the white man God forbid bad thing We must positively change this Nation It is a must Whether they like it or not 1 Like |
