Hello all.

I'm a new member.

If one's PR application is being processed in the Accra Visa Office, how can one reach them apart from using the Web Form?

We have not received any update since we passed medicals on April 29, 2018. Our AOR is April 23,2018. My spouse is the Primary Applicant. It's almost 8 months!

Also, I would like to ask for the link used by IRCC for currency conversion.

Thank you.

You can send a mail to Accra Visa Office using the below e-mail address:

accra.immigration@international.gc.ca

Goodluck!

Hello people,

So here is my experience today, just in case it might be of help to someone.

I did my medicals today at q life. Had an appointment and I didn't want to reschedule since I heard they were fully booked till March. In my opinion, it was pretty straight forward. I got there some minutes to 10am and I wasn't called till about 12ish. Those that cane in very early were done around 10 - 11ish. They follow a first come first served process so it was orderly. Again I would advise ya'll to read page 1, the entire process has been outlined in details, so you know exactly what to expect.

Finished medicals about 2ish headed straight to Alagbon for PCC. Was stopped by some guys in police uniforms at the entrance and I told then what I came for, they asked the country I was travelling to and if I was doing for someone. Then we went to d main thing, price. I told them I was referred from NL and I was told it was 4k. The guy told me bring 5k but I told him that's all I had. I went further to tell him how I was told to call Inspector Moshood and how I have hidden number. He sha consulted his partner first then asked me to follow him. He kept on saying hope I've not called Inspector Moshood, I reassured him I haven't and took me to fill the form and do my fingerprint. Currently waiting for the PCC as I was told it would be ready by 4pm.

After this we wait for North Cyprus PCC next week and IELTS result on the 13th, it shall all end in praise.

I believe you have sent transcript and certificate of your Nigerian B. Sc degree and transcript of your foreign masters. What they are asking for now is the masters certificate which you don't have.

Why don't you just ask your abroad school to send WES any of those alternatives WES asked for? No need sending them the masters transcript again.
I've done that, thanks.

Hello Chicjennie,

please correct me if i am wrong but i do not think WAEC will send scratch card on anyone's behalf. They only send transcript.

i honestly understand your concerns but i saw a group of people send theirs through this method on the platform.

smiley smiley smiley
Yes please. You are absolutely correct. A group of us combined and sent the scratch cards directly to WES ourselves through the FedEx at WAEC office.
Cheers.

Good evening everyone. Please I need to clarify something. I evaluated my diploma degree with ICES. I had mailed them initially that I dint have my certificate anymore which got burnt in a fire in 2008. However they agreed that a statement of result from the school will suffice. My diploma has been evaluated . I need to know if the statement of result will suffice post ITA as proof of education.

This is exactly the issue I'm facing with WES. it seems WES is bent on frustrating people. The information they put there is only transcript which I sent to them, unfortunately they changed the story when my transcript got to them. See the screenshot. I don't understand what they meant by 'diploma supplement' when in fact I sent my transcript to them TWICE. To think that I could have sent my confirmation of degree conferral at the time but never did because they didn't request for it. SMH for WES. Anyone planning to start evaluation, by all means, avoid WES, their shakara is way too much, they ain't the only evaluation agency. Shioor

WES = Potential trouble for Ng degrees. Valuable time and resources wasted.
Deal with WES at your own risk.

Hi please i have a question,
I started working in july 2012, after 2 years and 4 months on the job i left to go abroad (UK) for my Phd on study leave while still being paid full salary. Is this work experience enough for express entry?

Some people do as you are suggesting, but I'm not an advocate of that. I believe in doing things in order.

What I would do to take advantage of time (in case of cut-off tie) is to create and submit the EE profile, but while filling under education, I will choose "do not have an ECA" (or something like that). This will create my profile but without the points from ECA. When I get my ECA, I'll update and change it to "have an ECA" and fill the details.

You're an encouragement.

If I were in your shoes, I would attach my transcript along with the statement of result and cap it off with an LOE.

Should be enough depending on your CRS score.
