I have a car 2001Toyota Corolla, it temperature goes up only when it's hot outside( hot weather) and the AC is on. But works fine at evening/night when the AC is on. My Kazeem want to run the fan direct and I said no.
Any advice from the profs. in the house.

The climate control ecu noticed the engine on, coil engaged but no rotation picked up by the rpm sensor on the VDC compressor. This will immediately throw a B1422 and disengage power to the clutch to ensure no added damage is caused by this malfunction.

So let's analyse.

Possible faults.

1. A Frozen compressor.

2. A faulty coil.

If you get clicks on the door you try to operate, it means there is power to that door.

I have experienced similar problem with my EOD but not on 3 windows like you, mine was just one rear right window. In my own case, the window stopped operating while fully down. Took it for repairs, immediately the winding mechanism was removed and plugged to power, it worked perfectly. Putting everything back it worked like magic at the workshop but immediately i left, it stopped again. An electrician later checked the motor brushes but they were not worn out. The was nothing to be done as it keeps stopping and starting at will. Because of the frequency of the problem especially stopping when the glass is down i disconnected the window for half a year. I knew how to dismantle the window and put it back.

Just like you, i only get çlicks from the window when it stops. The solution to my problem was greasing and cleaning the brush contact to amateur. Its over 6 months now and its still working when mechanics said i needed to buy a new winding mechanism.

Let me explain how the click works, the window is supposed to click only when limits are reached. The system has a something i cant easily explain like a "torque limiter" (my assumption). It works by way of knowing that the window has reached a limit when the normal force applied to move the window has been overcomed by a force stopping it. It clicks to stop supply of power so as not to damage or over work the motor. This means that in normal operation, the window clicks at the top limit as well as the bottom limit. My conclusion was that anything that causes the window to click when it has ample allowances to move is either from the mechanism or window rail. It means the system cannot overcome the force to push or pull the window.

In my own case removing the 3 bolts holding the motor housing in place will just allow the window to work like magic. If i bolt the motor housing back, it stops soon afterwards. So i localized my problem to the motor housing area. I greased the cable winder and the improved the brush contact making the motor stronger.

I suggest you take out one of the mechanism and try it without load.

Please I noticed something recently on my car Lexus ES 350, when driving and all the accessories such as the AC, front light and CD player are on, after a while the battery error signal do appear on the dashboard and when I switched off the accessories , it goes off.... this is common mostly at night , there was a time I switched off the engine when I saw the error but the battery failed to restart the engine and I had to use another batter to start and the same battery continue working.

The battery is new and less than 2 months old and I have also asked a technician to check the radiator but all are working wel since the battery start the car normally without any issue and the battery is also working fine.

Can you advise on the possible solution

I recently started hearing a very breif metallic noise when I turn my key in the ignition. It stays for just a few seconds but it's followed by a squeal that lasts for about 3 minutes from one of the belts. This usually occurs on a cold start, the first time I start the vehicle daily.
Car is a 2007 RX 350. Please what could the issue be and what's the ease of repair?

My Honda CRV 00 doesn't shift gear anymore.i just got the
car (Naija used) and everything was working fine until my recent trip
when passersby called my attention to oil gush from underneath the car
while inside lasgidi traffic...i parked the car luckily my mecho was with me,
he did some first aid fixing,got some oil to enable us drive the car home.
next day on way to drop car for mechanic(10mins drive) for permanent fix,
i perceived burnt smell.mechanic said the hose that links transmission to
radiator for cooling transmission is the culprit and it was changed and remedied.
new ATF bought and the car was driving well until 8days after when the car was
so sluggish in moving,mechanic said gear/transmission is gone and will need a replacement

.....i scanned the car and i got these codes.... then i checked online and i got this descriptions..


P0501 powertrain,vehicle speed sensor

PO135 O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank1 sensor1

P1337 crankshaft speed fluctuation

PO141 circuit to duo sensor.bank0 sensor2

P0514 Battery temperature sensor circuit

I took my car to my mechanic for basic oil change earlier today. But to my supprise, he claim to have discovered some faults. He said one of the engine holder is damaged, and that the 3 Boris linked to the sharft are spoilt.

Although I noticed unusual stiffness when steering the wheel, and that the front of the car is almost touching the ground, but I assumed that is due to small tire size.

The guy now is charging me 15k for the fixing, including oil replacements, is that a fair price, or I should change my mech

I fixed the AC fixed today, the compressor was completely knocked, the condenser was also blocked. Had to change the 2 components.

Lesson learnt; always use a competent AC technician.

Pls help! I changed both the engine and gear box of my Corolla 2005 and picked it up from my mechanic yesterday. On my way home, the car started shaking badly, the check engine light, which had always be on, started flashing and the car lost power. The shaking was particularly bad while idling at traffic lights; but this stop if on neutral. Also from the moment I picked it, I started perceiving some foul smell, like oil burning. Pls what could be responsible for these issues?

Looks like a 2az. Is it a camry? The CV joint bearings if bad would cause excessive vibrations when vehicle is in motion and torque from engine is applied. In most cases where the bearings are bad, I usually recommend a complete axle change on both sides (company policy)

As for oil change and C.V bearings and labour costing 15k well you must be using very low quality oil.

Sadly your car is already apart and now is not the time to decide, so just pay the man and change mechanics in future.

Meanwhile, you have very interesting front left swaybar links.

i check online and was told The DPFE (differential pressure) sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced

Please share me your experience. Need to change my transmission oil, recommend me good brand if possible with pics
