Motol:

Well I applied for an Irish visa 3weeks ago and was called by the ups courier service that my package is ready with them for collection. Am not around to pick it up yet until next week when am back in Lagos. My question is ..I thought Ireland visa takes 8weeks to process..why did mine take exactly 3weeks. It was received at the embassy on 4th of October 2018 and got a mail that my processed visa has been dispatched from the embassy on 25th October. I hope it's positive news tho..lol..I have traveled well in the past to UK and am married to a UK citizen and resident.

Oooh but it’s still same.
Just tell them your spouse will join in Ireland and apply for the visiting visa with your P, your spouse P and your marriage certificate.
They may request for Hotel reservation

The visa has been approved. Your UK travel history and been married to a UK resident counted.

Good morning guys, i applied for the join spouse visa 3rd week of April 2018. My wife is Irish citizen and over the past 6-7month no feedback from the embassy.

We submitted the following documents:
Wife- Irish passport (copy)
6month bank statement
Tax document
Letter from employer(Hospital)
Letter from Landlord
Invite letter

Husband- Application letter
International passport(virigin)
Bank statement covering 6months

MARRIAGE certificate .
Relationship History
Phone call logs
Pictures(before, during and after) wedding.
Passport photograph.

Do we have reasons to be worried?
Could there be any bottlenecks?

Since you can tackle all issues raise by the vo then no need to worry.
I hope they don't complain on funds?

In general, you can expect a decision on your appeal about 8 weeks after your documents are received.

However, processing times can differ between offices and may also vary during the year, eg at holiday periods.

Processing times may also increase if a detailed assessment of family rights under the Constitution of Ireland or the European Convention on Human Rights is required.

Good documents but you can appeal the decision and submit along the following: Your savings account showing enough funds, Birth certificate of your third child, statement of purpose & letter of undertaking. Attached copy of the refusal letter to the appeal and send it by registered post. Explain in the statement of purpose that you made proper research about Ireland and you are satisfied that Ireland is the right country to spend your holiday and granting you a tourist visa will unlock your travel inexperience. Goodluck!

Thanks for the quick response boss,
Till this moment I can't still find my son date of birth certificate, can I do a sworn in affidavit in place of that? (age declaration).
Can I still include a copy of my planned itinaitinary I submitted before and am suspecting that my hotel reservation might have been cancelled, can I submit a new one?
Lastly, hope I don't need to submit any previous submitted doc's with my appeal apart the once you mentioned.

Thank you bro as God will continue to enrich you with wisdom for me.

Sworn affidavit (age declaration) is ok. Contact the hotel by giving them a call or send them email and ask them if your reservation is still on "reserved" or canceled, as that's the only way you can know. If you can't get in touch with them, make a new one and write a short note that you are not sure if the hotel is still on reserved as you can't reach them, then attach the old one at the back of the new reservation. Include all previous documents you submitted before, only if you still have them, but let your new documents be at the front if possible, such as savings account, Sworn affidavit (age declaration), Letter of Undertaking and Statement of Purpose. If I were you I would get a white plain sheet of paper and write:

"Dear visa Appeal officer, please find attached my personal account and the third birth certificate and other necessary documents as your concern in the refusal and appeal entitlement letter. Thank you for your effort and understanding".

Sincerely,
Atikubuhari Ogoxhukwu grin

Then, put the letter at the first page of all document you are going to send.

Goodluck and happy Sunday.

@dotcomnamename and all,

I plan to renew my Ireland visa in March 2019, the current visa will expire on the 19th of December, 2018.

The purpose is Tourism. My last visit was for 3 nights.

Question: Should I apply for a Year or 90days

Thank you

Multiple entry visas are usually only issued to an applicant who has shown a compliant travel history. Ireland can never grant you multiple entry visa if you don't previously had at least TWO previous visas. What i mean is "If you have had 2 previous Irish visas and have observed the conditions of these visas (e.g. you did not overstay or work illegally) you may apply for multiple entry".... Goodluck...
