Walking Down in the Street of Owerri,

Hotels and Bars here and there,

The street pays more they said,

At the other side of the road,

Everywhere is dark but shiny,



Women standing along , waving down cars,

How much will you pay me for a night becomes an Anthem,

Don’t touch my customer, he is my one and only, they struggle and hustle,

They were all dancing, wearing ‘V” shape undies,

My eyes stress up more to see, but nothing to see.



Men along the street, checking the size of a lady,

To spend a night with, may be in hours pay charge,

Many men want to shag, but don’t want babies born,

Wearing a sheaf is sensible, that’s if it isn’t torn,

The consequences , they don’t want to bear.



There was a comfort level that is far surpassed,

Playing safe remains the best,

I woke up, it was just a dream,

Looking out through my window,
