Apart from the mixed folks, many Tanzanians just have another kind of look that I really can't explain which is very different from that of Kenyans.

That dress is called leso or kanga - and is worn mainly by coastal women - both in Kenya & TZ - although I bet every woman in Kenya & TZ has a couple of them.

As regard the Swahili - I don't think TZ swahili is melodious - the coastal swahili - both in Kenya and TZ is smoother - TZ swahili I find has a lot of bantu interference - where the Ls are pronounced like the Rs.
