Some many foolish commentators on this thread.
The National Assembly leadership was the one that ordered security agencies to do this yet some fools are still blaming Buhari.
Smh

NairaMedia:
Men of the Nigerian Police Force have occupied the National Assembly Complex. The operatives, who have shut all entrances to the premises, prevented workers from gaining entry.

The main entrance close to the Eagle Square was barricaded with patrol vans.

The security operatives also frisked journalists, construction workers, vendors and a few who they felt should be allowed in.

The workers, under the auspices of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, had shut down the complex as part of their four-day warning strike.

They had in the early hours of Monday occupied the entrances and shut power and water supplies to the building.

The leaders and management of the National Assembly had held an emergency meeting last night, after which they directed the police and the Department of State Services to secure the premises ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s presentation of the 2019 Appropriation Bill on Wednesday.

I thought that the NPF was an independent institution. You first said the police had later you said the workers. Did you mean to say, officers of the NPF attached to the NAN?
You also said they had an emergency meeting in the night, but failed to tell the location or was it on conference call, chat or telekinesis? grin

I never imagined Olympics games were this boring until 2015. I hope the overlap will bring an improvement.

You might wanna step up the level of your journey, mate. You always have equals and you must try to elevate beyond your equals all the time.

Go and tell your idol saraki to pay his workers![. For your information saraki is not owing or responsible for payment of salaries, it is the responsibilities of the NASS commission and beside the workers are clamouring for new condition of services. ]
