The lady had a CGPA of 4.57, the college Dean insisted that she she wasn't a worthy of the first class in character...

My department is filled with bitter lecturers maybe because most of them had 2.1. These girls will become Prof before some lecturers in that department. To become a Prof sef na war. I can wait to write my final exams by january or February. ASUU just dey spoil calender for person.

am a graduate of English and literary studies, ESKU, this lecturer believe that u can't have that grade, because English is not any bodies L1 in Africa, that it's, English is not anybody mothers language in Africa, so how come u have a first class, even if u merit it u can't be awarded.

they still have their first class honours only they didn't award best graduating to them

Well their certificates are their biggest accomplishment. What Award surpasses that. Abeg make dem cherish their certificates mek i continue to dey cruz with my 2.2

And I know a lot of Covenant folks that work in silicon valley. A number of cu friends that study in uni of Cambridge and many ivy leagues. Are u the admission officer of ivy leagues? Lol don't be funny we are not your mate when it comes to foreign studies. If OAU sends 5% of grad class to foreign schools for graduate studies then Covenant must have sent 30%...

Even if I did, what would be the problem with that? I don't want anything to do with any federal university in this life but I recognise the inequalities they would breed in the future. Maybe grade deflation a decade ago was ok when all parties consented to it. But in this era a UI wants 25% of her graduating class with first class in the nearest future. It's in their strategic plan for 2021.

A CU is willing to give it to as many people who merits it. Access bank would not prefer an OAU grad to an LBS, CU or Babcock grad because it is harder at OAU

Don't u realize how much impact our posts have had in opening eyes about the funding Level of federal schools and thereby hinting the authority of the huge leakage going on in those schools? ASUU alone won't like such talkless of their graduate that feel demarketted by our exposé.

How can a UI with biological science dept getting average of half a million Naira per student look like a hybrid of business center and poultry while Landmark Uni that charges around N600k look like a bank?

No wonder banks prefer LU graduates and business center prefer most federal school grads.
