I guess you are among the few 10% who has never experienced real lack and poverty. 10k is a lot of money to many people. just because you are privileged does not mean others are like you. it is a good initiative anyway. as a trained economist. I can tell you that over 80% of the Nigerian labour force are engaged in urban informal activities e.g petty trading. this will vastly reduce unemployment.

petty trading, akara selling, cobbling business. hope you know that the value of 10k in Lagos is much higher that of some parts of the country e.g remote villages, North. I know what am saying cos I served in a village where akara that is sold for N50 per one, is sold for N5.

besides as you are able to pay back, you are entitled to more and higher loans.
