5-10% value of the car for PPI ....that's why I told the guy to shine his eyes well well.

from the picture you sent, that car has had it's engine changed to another engine. The chassis/body is a C230, but engine is either a C240 or C320. You dodged a bullet!

I think they are using a generic scanner. I recently got somwthing very close to the star scanner, 99.9% close and yes, it would indicate all faults, from a bad sliding roof to transmission to airbag to SAM issues. Battery registration etc
Somebody lowered the back seat and didnt latch it properly and the scanner got it. Badass!!!

That star scanner is expensive and i guess you can get it from either Amazon or eBay.

Why spend so much to acquire a Star scanner for a Camry when you can as well get something a bit cheaper that will do the job for your Camry? If i were you, I won't acquire a Star scanner to be used for a Camry.
