Am sorry I doubted Lobi
The coach is brilliant. He rested Sikiru Alimi entirely in the first leg and the lad comes back with a brace in the second leg. People should remember that name because the boy will soon blow.

Good news for hopeless Balogun is that dunk got his own red card meaning balongun will probably play their next 2 match. That guy is wasting his chances ooo

My brother, I created a thread for it. It was from that thread that sports compass picked up that piece of News because they are our exact words .But the mods didn't deem it fit to take it to front page. I expected same for the voting thread but it didn't make front page, which to me is even a blessing as the people that voted are us here and other patriotic fans.

I don't know what Nairaland mods are up to. I saw the other Sports stories they took to front page and I just shook my head. But I know one thing for sure is that this poll has really promoted Nairaland. Even in the news that was cast on Vibes FM the source of the poll was mentioned as Nairaland. Infact it was the major sports news on the station that day.

I expect more online media to carry it while Nairaland mods continue with what ever they think they are doing. Let other media promote polls that were conducted on their site.

I think Seun needs to know about this.

Seun, a thread that created News from your site, that also promoted your site and is being carried by different media but did not make front page on your site.

What kind of mods do you have? Do they take bribe to take stories to front page?

This a shame oga Seun

Some weeks back, when a post of Odey scoring in the Swiss league was made you asked why he hasn't been called up yet (in case you wanna deny it, BascoVanVeli can attest to it)
Suddenly, Odey is now an untested and unproven player to you... grin
These players should be given a chance l did say without any doubt. You give players a chance to test them and for them to prove thier quality.

However, not to the exclusion of our tried and tested number one quality striker Ighalo.

I anticipated something like this which is why I took it beyond Nairaland. Some media practitioners followed that voting exercise. SWAN Edo state in particular followed.

It is so u fortunate, I think Seun needs to re-evaluate his moderators. They seem not to know how to prioritize News that should be on front page. I have seen a lot of very important News that never got to front page. Some will get to front page after several years. Too bad.

See ur life grin .. Where did I say that Ighalo should be excluded?? I clearly stated that since Iheanacho and Success aren't doing enough to challenge Ighalo for the no.9 role, Odey,Onauchu,et al should be given a chance...

You think Seun cares? He and his moderators know the kind of news that attract more traffic.. those are the kind of news they move to front-page...
