Then he shouldn't ask for a loan! He should ask for money that he will use for the “betterment of the family”, so that the wife knows it's family money that she is not getting it back.

That said, why do you assume that the man will use it for betterment of the family? Haven't you seen men who borrow from their wives to make their sidechicks happy? Or man who borrow from their wives to buy drinks for the boys?

Angelina996, this is an example of my reply to you. When a woman has the greater amount of cash she will turn it into a knife to be used to constantly stab the man's ego.

@topic, what is newsworthy about lending money to a partner? When her husband used to lavish expensive gifts on her she didn't come to announce it — it was his duty. Now, he needs some financial assistance to make life better for her and their kids she is here vomitting tales of how she has been lending him money. I need that 'spitz' meme.
