If your product is good you should be able to advertise it, more so that it has to do with the salvation of souls. If you know that you have better things to offer than other churches you have mentioned then why not flood the media with advertisements. You have that instruction right inside the Bible you claim to be holding.

I dont know if this thread is meant to advertise the Apostolic Faith Church or not and as much as I am not out to criticize those that have painted a picture of perfection of the church, I saw some untruth and hypocrisy in the statements they gave.
I know this church very well, and the fact is that they preach against going to the hospital or taking medication and up till now the doctrine is still being upheld, though we now have more and more of their members contravening that doctrine. Up till now their pregnant women are not expected to visit the hospital and they are made to deliver their babies at home or in the church. As a result many have lost their lives.
It is regarded as sin for you to have TV at home, and before you are made an officer in the church it will be investigated if you have TV at home. If you do you can remain an ordinary member of the congregation for life.
You cannot marry from outside the church, you are virtually excommunicated.
The fact that some members of the church deny all these goes a long way to tell how secretive the church is. And am sure that doesnt portray holiness at all.
I know about the case someone mentioned earlier of their pastor at akoko who impregnated a girl. There are cases of immorality like this in the church even up till now. A current wave also indicate two of their senior pastors (one in lagos and one in osun)scattering the marriage of their daughters.
I think God wants us to preach the Gospel, to preach Christ, and not the church and the doctrines of men.
The church is not perfect and in fact nowadays among the senior managers of the church are servants of the devil falsely calling themselves servants of God. They have an outward appearance of humility but in them are filthiness of dead men bones.
We all need to turn back to God as the end time is very near, And mind you the Bible says judgement will start from the house of God.

Hello!! there, I just stumbled on this thread and I want to give more clarification on this quote, for those that might come across this, please n please the current apostolic faith church of to day, do go to hospital for Treatment or child bearing, no one is against any member for doing such, The church as well do go on media for publicity be it on TV or Radio, so no one is against anyone listening to radio or having Television in your house, Yes!! in terms of marriage the church encourages you marry your fellow Christian not a church goer, that's why it's encourage to marry whom you know been your brethren.
yes!! not only AFC members will make heaven but be rest assured that a man will be judged based on the laws he knows n been giving to him,
Many had came to apostolic faith church, hear the doctrine and they were gladen by it, while some came hear it and left because they can't keep the Bible doctrines Like marrying a second wife when the first is still alive and rest of it.
In all our services we sing Hymes and listen good songs from our choir and orchestra, in all our churches world wide know collection plate is been passed around, like other churches do collections up-to three times b4 d church dismiss, but in all this the work of the Lord is moving very well by his grace, we do review a topic of Sunday school every sunday, listen to sermons at the end kneel down and talk to God, not generally say The grace prayers and every one left, again in all our services we don't gyrate in the church in the way of dancing, we are blessed with God's abundant blessings, so don't see us as Chaf,last two years or so former presidents olusegun obasanjo attended our Annual music concert at igbesa ogun state and he was very proud of us and happy.

Hello!! there, please apostolic faith believes in Jesus Christ, his birth, death and resurrection and his coming as well, so we join other Christians to celebrate Christmas regarding his birth OK.
2- when you said mode of worship is orchestra you are wrong, I wrote something up there, every Sunday we do have a topic of Sunday school we share ideas on, listen to music from our choir and orchestra, sing hymes, listen to sermon and talk to God, that's our mode of worship every Sunday.
3-Yes!! a white lady from Portland Oregon, was the founder in early 19th century, when their was down pour of latter rain at Asuzu street. she was among those that partake n was filled with God's spirit to work for him.
4-Yes!! pastor Kumuyi is one of us, he is one of our ministers, during the administration of our late overseer Bro T.G Oshokoya at Lagos been the headquarters.
5-yes!! Apostolic faith church and deeper life share some similarities, yes, we believe natural beauty is the best and as well going along with God's commandments, Cos he said we are created in his own image, and after creation he turned and saw Wat he created n said it was perfect, so theirs no reason why our women won't maintain their God given natural hair, and start emulating the westerners in so called long hair with different colours, is not acceptable to us, like wise putting make up and earrings, but that doesn't mean a woman doesn't supposed to glomme her body with a good pomade that suits the skin and perfume, treat your hair and gloome it as well and style your hair in any form you like, look good and dress smart not exposing any part of your body in other to look sexy, showing boob's and booty, and in all make your self holy n trustworthy in all your doing. Anything we know about Jesusu comes from the church, so faith in the church comes first, before you can talk about faith in Jesus.

In the business of church marketing, AFC, not Apostolic Church, isn't at the forefront.
This isn't meant as a denigration because I worship there.
We do advertise our programs but we don't give prominence to any leader. The handbills, radio messages, psoters carry the picture of Jesus only.

Iove that church so much. Their teaching is so balanced. It's what I call the Christian way.

I love the Higher Way magazine the most. So rich in fundamental Christian teachings that other churches don't touch. That is why I go out of my way to get them though I am not a member of the church.

In case you are wondering what teachings I am talking about. Teachings like salvation, consecration, baptism, baptism in the Holy Spirit, prayers, will of God, service, intercession, etc. I think a true church should first teach those teachings done in AFC, alongside any other doctrine they may concentrate on.

May God pour out His Spirit more on the church in Jesus' name.

Yesterday, I noticed that I had symptoms of malaria. The symptoms he been building for some days, but I thought maybe it was just the changing weather and all. When I noticed the symptoms yesterday, I knew it was malaria coming. Ode�.

Me that I know that Jesus has carried my sickness and I should not carry sickness anymore ( I Peter 2:24). By God's grace, I also know how to get what God has provided for me � (Mark 11: 23-24). I just commanded like this :

Every symtom of malaria, I command you to leave my body, in Jesus name.

Thank God. It disappeared. I am feeling alright now. praise the Lord.

Note: Before I understood divine healing, I used to fall sick nearly every week. But now, I have not fallen sick for about a year now. And I keep getting stronger. If I smell any symptom, I just command them to go ni. Allele! I am free and fit.

My brother, take these:
1. Divine healing is true. That people did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah did not make His Christhood false. That churches do not believe in divine healing does not make it a fallacy. I am not a member of AFC, but I learnt divine healing through Kenneth Hagin. ' And you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.

2. The church is made up of imperfect human beings. The acts or errors of any member or official does not diminish any Gospel truth upheld by a church.
