I rooted my Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and installed ifonts. It works but whenever the phone goes off and comes back on, the default font is reinstalled. What could be the reason?

I still can't decipher the logic in this notion of not using small generator to charge phones. The phone uses 5v DC and the charger takes in the 100-240 AC and coverts it to DC, there is a smoothening capacitor in the charger that removes all the harmonics and other smart integrated circuits to protect your device, so am still asking what is the logic behind the small generator spoiling phones because I know that if there should be any power surge as the small generators don't have avr, it is the charger that gets burnt and your phone never gets affected. If my analysis is wrong, can you enlighten me.

your theory is correct for a properly built charger, these cheap chinese chargers are usually not built properly, and may damage your fone or the charger itself if connected to a gen with high voltage or fluctuating voltage
