If I become the president of this nation the first thing I will do concerning security and protection of people lives is to disarm every security personnel in this country.I've not find rationality behind a police man or any other security agencies owning a gun.

An airforce man is expected to demonstrate high level of civility and discipline of the force not to playing hooliganism in the public.. I learnt in my NYSC years that the military are highly disciplined. They used to call us mumu because of our raw state . .This days only God know how the military are being trained ..they go about messing up & down in the public but running away from Boko Haram ..

How can the military be (in you own words powerless within the country) when the police itself hasn't lived up to proper expectations. The military has constantly been drafted to partner the police and other internal security agencies in various kinds of duties which ought to be carried out by the police and her sister agencies

I have always maintained that its wrong to aggressively confront a rifle baring man.... It can bbe misconstrued and anything may happen. Nobody would wait to be disarmed first by a mob before he protects himself and his rifle....

After you have disarmed every security personnel, criminals would now be the only ones with weapons, so that the purpose for your disarmament would be defeated. Weapon in a lawful person's hands is preferred to same in a Lawles person's' hands
