This has been a strange year for me.

I experienced a lot of ups and down and I lost someone special to me (my dad) which revealed a lot to me about life and myself.

So here's to next year

> I plan to go wholly out to achieve my goals

> And I plan to talk and chat less while being more practical and hard working

It’s a new year and Nairalanders are doing the ‘new me’ bulls-hit?
Some of the people typing things here will break the resolution on New Year Day itself.
Me, however, I don’t care to do resolutions. Anytime I choose to change a habit I jump into it. Resolutions only make me lazy to change.

Finally, I think there are ways you display such honesty, but not in a very demanding manner. Girls tend to know when a guy is really desperate. You don't have to be. Besides, you're only expressing how you feel, but it doesn't mean since you feel that way, that you've not been living a life of bliss and opportunity. The whole idea is to do it in a less demanding way. Be yourself! Be Bold! Be rational!
