Mental issues and suicidal tendency is something that can happen to anyone not matter strong they think you are. It can happen to your brother, your sister, your parents, your future children etc. Both Allah and Jesus will not save you when it comes if you do not take some of the suggestions that some individuals have listed here such as seeking help from loved ones, attending social gathering and spending meaningful time with loved ones who can resurrect the sense of love and belonging in such hard times.

Some of the comments people post here on certain issues are very awful and eye-sore. Just imagine someone who has depression or people outside Nigeria going through these comments here. People saying stuff like burn in hell and some religious bullshit that people spit out here. It sends a very primitive and low-mentality image on the Nigerian populace.

My WARNING is going particularly to young people. Depression is real and it will be worse on us young people because of the hardship in Nigeria. Alot of young people in Nigeria, even graduates, have no foreseeable hope for their future. Some have them been forced to put hands in untold things due to hardship. With the social media on the hype, you are also likely to get hopeless about life because of the effect it has on your self-esteem. BE WISE!! STOP HELPING ALL THIS OLD GENERATION FROM STIGMATIZING DEPRESSION BECAUSE IF YOU OR YOUR FRIEND GET DEPRESSED, it will be difficult for you or your friend to get the help they need due to stigmatization.

We have been praying to God and Allah which were brought to us by British colonizers and Arab Crusaders since time immemorial and yet those God allowed Africa to be colonized,Yet these Gods allows all the bad things happening to Nigeria Boko Haram, Corruption, Road accidents, poverty, baby factory,etc. continue to happen today. It is time to try other things. It's time to open our eyes. Do more research and educate ourselves.
