How do you fight corruption and expect instant result in a rotten system. It has gotten so deep that only few in this country are excepted in a society where almost everybody is trying to outsmart each other. The monetary aspect of corruption is even worse. Maybe the government can stem the tide through heavy sanctions if found guilty but laws in Nigeria only exist on principles and not in practice.

will you just keep quiet !!!! after 3 years are we not supposed to see a slow down but the NBS reports says there is a constant increase ..Buharibisvthe mostvcorrupt Nigerian ever

Supporter of looters, make shame do you small. Today Nigeria is suffering because the only thing you pdp people know is stealing and more stealing.

Imagine for 16 years no single completed rail project by PDP

less than 4 years APC has completed 2 and will finish a 3rd by may. Have some shame, work hard as God bless the hands that work.

By the grace of God I have never collected any money from BMO nor am I employed by them.

I am sure Atiku the man you called Aboki is proving difficult releasing money for you folks to eat so keep your peanuts of a loot, cause winter is coming for looters.

What fight? There has been no successful prosecution of many of the selective fight against corruption by Buhàri administration.

How did NBS conduct this study and came up with the statistic? Is it the bribe giver or bribe taker that report the incident to them? Why is intelligence so scarce in Nigeria?

Hmmmm. Those who are shouting corrouption against others are more corrupted than corruption itself.

Nigeria is so failed that ordinary report people cannot digest or analyse.

Increasing Reportage of corruption doesn’t mean corruption is on the rise it only means people are aware that the fight is real and they are ready to report it.

It’s only when it is reported that it is recorded. It was not reported in the past because people saw it as a fruitless effort.

Please mr. bad news hunter go hunt for the next bad news .. . I wonder how you support thieves and criminals and a self acknowledged thief but still have the termerity to talk about corruption like it isn't the path you have chose and celebrate.

Never again will thieves determine the fate of Nigeria.
you mean criminal like Babar chair lawal?by the way has him be charged? I need an answer please.
Re: Despite Fight, Corruption Still Thrives In Nigeria, NBS Says by Baselm: 7:29pm On Jan 03, 2019
Can any government stop Nigerians from demanding bribe? Even if you don't demand, they will give willingly as it was stated in the statistics. The corruption that affects the masses most is the diversion of public funds into private pockets. Giving and taking of bribe has become a cultural thing in this country and fighting that type of corruption will leave nobody else on the streets of Nigeria.

With people like you, Nigerian politicians don't have problems, there is always a sucker ready to make excuses for them, if 4 years is not enough to bring real change then 8 years would never be. People can't keep dying and then reward the govt because of 2 rail lines, are blacks really that heartless

PDP still holds the record of the most corrupt government the world has ever seen

It might take some time, but Buhari will eventually kill grand corruption, though nobody can kill systemic corruption sighted in this report, it require collective efforts of all Nigerians.
Virtually all the bad eggs in PDP are in APC so don't expect anything different in PMB's fight against corruption.

In response to the picture below

What about ordinary Nigerians hit by worsening poverty, rising food prices and general inflation?

What are they reacting to?
