afrodoc2:Almost everybody was poor means he should also be poor? He gave away too much possession and misplaced quite a few passes even when he wasn't under any pressure. Anyways the jury isn't out on him yet make we dey watch |

This team has a lot of deadwood. If only Mou got rid of some, things would have been better. Instead he got more deadwood |

Very disappointing performance. Our 2nd team should be playing better than this even if it's these set of players. Anyhow, onto the next round |

elrony:Right from the onset, it was. I think it's because this is the first time these set of players are playing amongst themselves in a competitive game. |

Lana1:That is not the point. It is easier to make your debut as a young player when the team is playing well or if the team is on the front foot. The team was playing poorly all round, there was a lack of technical quality play all over the pitch and it was his first time playing such a game. It is not surprising that it was not an excellent outing from him. I am interested in his progression rather than his first 30mins. Adnan and Macheda who had great first 30 mins are nowhere now. |

eph12:If mou hard gotten rid of some of the deadwoods we would have been having about 11 first team deadwood slow lackadaisical defenders whose only mission would be parking buses and aircrafts on the pitch. Make OGS identify the deadwoods himself and make necessary changes. That's what I wish. |

All in all, a terrible performance. I hope Jose left his bus behind, because we need it to offload several players from Old Trafford. |

Oasis007:I can't argue otherwise although I am willing to give Fred some more chance. |

Worst game since Ole took over. Expected though as we fielded some players that are Championship level at best. Darmian did pretty well today, I think. Was pretty good defensively and had a pretty impressive burst forward through the midfield to setup an attack (that was wasted). Considering the shift in position, did OK. Jones was well...Jones. Straight and simple. Fred was abominable. Had the first touch of a grade A level sėx offender and pretty poor spatial and general awareness. McTominay is suffering from positional confusion. This guy is/was a center forward at youth levels but within 6 months has played as a CM , DM and freaking center back. I guess that's what happens when you've got an imposing frame. Andreas Perreira needs to understand English football and the art of evading the press. Could get better with time but not terribly impressive today, I'm afraid. Juan Mata was not too good. Great player technically but shouldn't continue playing in a league as physically demanding as the Premier League within the next year. Alexis Sanchez had a decent game. Still needs to understand his team mates more. Chong was not that bad. Really wanted to impress like every young player but over did it. These minutes were important for his development though. Could still see some sparks of his talent but he's no magician that's for sure. Reactionary fans will spout negativity. Rashford should not have played today so won't rate him. Lukaku is on his make or break period. He might never get to the level a United striker should possess. At the moment he's "decent backup" at best. Happy for the three points. On to the Spurs game. |

Pereira was the worst of the midfield trio by far today. If that man no ready to chill and wait for his turn while better people are getting the job done, he can go in the summer jare. I'm not sure the standing he has at the club to be demanding anymore than he already gets in terms of appearances. Perhaps a fresh start is what he truly needs to Kickstart his career |

As for Fred, I don't know when he will learn that nobody will give him all the time and space he requires on the ball to make his mind up, that he has left Ukrainian league. Until he sorts that part of his game out, he will only be useful against teams that will defend very deep. His skill set will come in very handy then but for now he can continue to learn to adjust to the pace and intensity of this league on in training, on the bench and in cameo appearances here and there |

![]() City have also included an agreement whereby they would receive 40% of any future transfer fee... if Brahim were to join Manchester United. Nawa oo to Man City |

Man Utd have won their five matches in all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjær so far - their longest consecutive winning run since January 2018 (5 games). |

Swiss Ramble has reported on the past decade, although it is important to note these figures don’t include the first three years of their takeover. United has generated £1.3b over the last 10 years, which is almost twice as much as the next highest club, Arsenal, with £754m. This is followed by Spurs with £675m and Liverpool with £341m. Two of the biggest spenders over the past decade, City and Chelsea, have generated just £146m and £76m respectively. |

However, when you look at how that money has been spent, a more alarming picture is revealed. 49% of the money we have generated has been spent on debt and interest, while just 32% has gone on improving the squad. Compare that to the proportional spending on players from our rivals like Chelsea (65%), City (64%) and Liverpool (54%). A really grim picture is painted when you look at what that 49% looks like as money spent. £0.8b of our club’s money has been spent on loan and interest payments in the past decade. Then take a look at the impact owner financing has contributed to rival Premier League clubs. City’s owners have put £1.3b in to the club over the past decade while the Glazers have taken £0.8b out of United. |

![]() I know this is simply a Forum, and our Opinions only matter here only. But if I have the Opportunity to advise the Board on Transfers; I will gladly advise the Board to engage in Swap Deals instead of direct Sales. Cos no ambitious Club will drop Money for any of the Deadwoods at the Club. I will gladly offer Fellaini and Tom to B. Dortmund for Axel, Darmian and Fred to Jeventus for Douglas, Mata for Samuel Chukwueze. Valencia to Fulham in exchange for Ryan in addition with Grant as a Promo. Finally..... I will honorably do a direct swap deal with AC Milan with Lukaku for Higuain. Nobody can improve Lukaku's first Touch. He's a good Striker but his first Touch is letting him down. I think Serie A gonna suits him well, cos if Bakayoko can become a Star there, then Lukaku has hope. |

"I think [Alexis] will be OK, but he was tired and hopefully not a bad Reaction so we will see once we get closer to next Week. "We are going to have some Days to recover and then train hard because we know that if that Performance is repeated at Wembley Stadium against Spurs, we are not going to come back with clean Sheet and any Points." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |

"It was a tough Game, but 2 - 0 and a clean Sheet [is good]. I made it tough for us because when you make nine Changes it is never easy for a Team that has never played together, so delighted we are in the next Round. "We work together every single Day, every single Game and of course we know we need fitness Work and work on Relations, but Today I put a Team together that has never played together and we are through, so that's good." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |

"We analyzed them [Reading]. We know they were going to come and play and I have to say they played it well. They have some quality Players and they made us work hard to get in Possession and when we got the Ball we were to wasteful. "We know that, we have spoken about loads of things to improve on." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |

Ole seems to know just the right thing to say at his pressers- after analyzing the game and noting how the performance is. I’m particularly interested in how things pan out over the next few months. |
