I just finished reading every page of this thread, and I am boiling with anger.

It is very sad that some human beings will dance naked in the marketplace defending blatant fraud, just because of peanuts they get from the company directly or indirectly.

If you so boldly defend fraudulent practices like these, you are nothing but a fraudster yourself.

Helpishere, Denn, and your 2 other associate fraudsters (or possibly your alternate monikers) on this thread, you are a disgrace to humanity.

I am totally ashamed to come from the same country as scum like you guys, who sell their entire soul and conscience for a plate of pottage.

I have no words for you guys, other than the following-
If you so blatantly defend fraud, may similar fraudulent practices continue to bedevil your own life like an evil shadow.
If you believe the sharp practices of Cars45 to swindle unsuspecting buyers of their hard earned money is fair game, then may similar types of sharp practices continue to overshadow your lives forever.

You will buy drugs from a pharmacy to treat your malaria and it will turn out be fake drugs, poison that kills your kidneys and liver, because you didn't do enough "due diligence".
You will buy car parts and brake pads and it will turn out to be fake brake pads that will fail you when you need it most, ....when you're on the express speeding towards a stationary trailer....because you didn't do enough "due diligence".
You will buy fake tyres and your front tire will blow on the highway at 150km/hr, as you didn't do enough due diligence.
You will go to hospital and it is fake doctor that you will meet, who will do to your body whatever his quackery directs him to, as you didn't do enough due diligence.

All these and more will continue to befall you guys, since you so blatantly defend that the company is right as long as the OP didn't fully do her due diligence.

Quote me and watch live high tension wire fall on you in a thunderstorm in this very year 2018.

First of all, all the curses has already befallen you and your poor miserable life. That is why you are boiling with anger over a matter that you cannot fathom because your level of comprehension is null. I will try to make you understand because from what I can see, your foundation of comprehension is faulty and as such it wont be right for me to condescend to your level of filthiness.
A lady buys a naija used car (naija used ) that most of us knows that the maintenance is zero. Nigerians use SAE 40 to service a 2005 car. I asked a question on this matter, did the car overheat on her way home? Did it overheat on the second day? Did she take it to Nairaland professional to check? Did she check the water level? The car worked on uber runs the first day, no story. What will happen for a Toyota engine to overheat? First, if the fans are not connected, if the radiator is leaking, if the radiator is dirty or they run the fan permanently to the battery and in the process of the lady changing the battery, they forgot to put the wire back. To run uber runs, there must be A/C and on the first day, no overheating. the second aggrieved customer afangsoup, brought a mechanic from Uyo and bought a car and same day was on his way back to Uyo. Even when someone buys a toks, there are many details that will be carried out before he can see it fit to travel with the car. He did nothing even when he came with a mechanic. He could have quickly changed the oil even if it was Mobil xhp but he never did. To change engine oil on a car you bought, is that due diligence? To change the gear oil on a 15 years old car that you have no service history of the car, is that due diligence? When you are destroyed without hand, you will not know that you have erred by trying to curse those who are far better than you. Even the lady in question has not uttered an offensive diatribe and it was her car and her money. I remember a story I once heard of a lady that had a flat tyre on Third mainland at midnight and she was stranded. A young guy passed her and stopped to help her but forgot to use his car as a shield. A drunken driver rammed into them and killed the good samaritan instantly while the lady escaped with bruises. Please dont be that stupid victim.

Your live high tension wire is waiting for you already, hanging over your head.
Enjoy the few remaining months of your miserable existence you have left....if you get up to that in this rainy season.
The world will be much better without scum like you- defending the indefensible.

My time is worth much more than to waste it on useless fraudsters whose only job and source of feeding is to stay online defending their paymaster's fraudulent practices.

For someone that is very active in romance section , you must have heard that the Op has a lot of money and therefore you want to have your way with her. That story that I stated concerning the stupid guy that was killed by a drunken driver is your portion and when it will happen is left for God to decide and may He have mercy on you.

Most people do business or patronize people based on reports and trust.

If a report on a car is 100% accurate, what's the essence of inspection, I guess, just to check the exterior...
If the exterior is satisfactory and based on trust I do not need further checks on the car but quite bad that we live in a society whereby you even recount your money after bin dispensed by ATM, no trust at all....

If you recount your money for atm and no complete, you're on your own grin Naija wahala too much.

I wonder how i missed this thread. 16 pages and almost 3 hrs of my time, my respect for some popular monikers just plummeted and crashed.

This thread has made me resolve to only buy Naija used cars directly from user or nothing.

No one is talking about how the op bought a 2011 Corolla and sold it at the buy back a 2008 Corolla. This alone makes the coy fraudulent.

After gnashing our teeth and biting our nails in regret. We knew we had lost. It was a bad buy. We had to get it off our hands and count our loss.
We took the car to CARS45 with their report to sell it. The agent had told us they would buy it for at least 1.4m if we are lucky we can get more. Even though that was less than what we paid for it and had also spent money fixing. We were ready to sell it for that.
On Monday we took it to cars45 office. To sell it.
They looked at it, drove its a long distance. We got back to their office, they look at it again. And proceeded to give use the report .
This car is 2008model it was only upgraded to 2011
(Omg. Which kind wahala be this)
But we where not told, infact your report shows...
That doesn't count, he said
they gave us a new report
This new report showed the car was in a very bad shape.
Mind you it is the same company that had given the first report when we bought it from them.
After the report
The offered us 650 for the car
I DIEd

Hope you are alive

Car 45 is really a big fraud.had similar experience.I bought a 2005 Honda crv with clean report for 1.1m in august 2018.i couldn't drive test for long cos it was inside their yard and won't allow u to drive it out to test the gear and engine condition so I relied on their report.on my way home from their yard I noticed the gear make stud noise when changing from 1to 2. I immediately made a u turn back to their office to complain and I was told its a minor fault which required service of gear switch. Got home and went to mecho to service gear switch and even change gear oil with recommended Honda atf. Same issue. I drove vehicle for a week still no respite and decided to sell it back to car45. That's just a week ooo.Made a call to their agent and i was told to go to their iju center and there i was made to spend the whole day testing and running their scanner on the vehicle.atlast came with their report that vehicle is in very bad shape and valued at 350k after a prolong auctioning system. Chei. I couldn't believe what I was told.i showed them their own report I got just a week when I bough the vehicle at ilupeju center. I left the place dejected after much argument and rattling.Thank God I have to sell it in open market for 840k. Thanks to a God sent car dealer. car45 reports and activities are all fraud. It won't work.

The caveats were well placed.

I sympathize with the victims but in all objectivity, these guys(cars45) have business model that is designed to suit them and them alone.

What beats me is that the tell-tale signs are very evident and yet people still fall for this 'scam'.

Who on earth in a state of sobriety buys a car he cannot test drive especially with large well positioned signs blaring this warning evidently.

It's a working model for our society and the desperate ones amongst us will still patronise them.
