I'm seriously trying to save cost, kindly help me with the list of those cheaper colleges bros

Check out Conestoga college. I met a girl in school today who spent 1 year at Conestoga before moving over to Fanshawe. Her current fees at Fanshawe is about 2,500 dollars more than what she paid at Conestoga.

Also check New Brunswick community college you could end up saving about 3000 dollars.

Check colleges in Manitoba,( please make sure they offer PGWP eligible programs) you could end up saving up to 4,000 dollars if you dont mind staying in the cold.

All the best.

All the best

domex007 I am so happy for you. I feel like hugging you. God is faithful. Thanks for sharing this testimony.

You tried all these countries and never gave up? your determination is out of this world. Just imagine if you have killed yourself those years you were rejected because you thought that was the end?

I always say it, once you are alive, anything can still happen no matter the failures, delays and disappointment you have experienced. Once there is life, there is always hope.

Help a brother. I’m self sponsored. How much must I have in my account to stand a chance of getting a visa? Simon Fraser University is my target. Thanks

check the link below, it shows you how much you need and all other documents needed for this whole application process or check the first page of this thread. If you go through the link and you still have questions, then come back and ask. God bless you bro.

Hey guys,

I have been a silent follower on this page. I did an online application. My first application. This is my timeline.

Submitted: 28th Sept
Biometric done: 11 Oct
Ordered GCMS notes: 19th Nov 2018
GCMS notes came back : 21st Dec
Eligibility review/Medical request: 28th Nov
Medicals done: 4th Dec
Medical passed: 11th dec

After this I didn't hear anything from them. Sent them an email and also laid a complained via webform.

Approval came 10th Jan. I will submit my passport tomorrow.
I want to know from people that have gotten theirs how long it will take for my passport to return. I am worried I won't be able to meet up with classes and all this Jan. But I really want to make it. I am meant to resume in University of Calgary, MEng in Electrical and computer engineering

Documents submitted are;

-International passport

-Letter of acceptance from my school. Including my letter of deferral from Sept 2018to Jan 2019

-Proof of funds: Personally sponsored...My ARM money market (7.3m), savings account (3.6m), dollar account ($ 6913)
The total was about 12m

- Letter of reference from ARM and GTbank

- Certificate of registration of business name (for my sister)
- I did a partnership agreement with a lawyer, showing that I own a share in my sister's company. I did this becos friends advised me to have something strong for home times. I did not have land so I made this partnership agreement and back dated it. Explain in my SOP that I was going to come back to continue running the business with my sister.

- work ID card, employment letter, promotion letter, 6 months pay slip

- receipt of payment for my University of of Calgary application. Also receipt of payment of $500 to the school as admission confirming deposit

- SOP - I used from samples I saw online and a friend's own. Explained that I had a good job but wanted to further my studies to help me move to another Dept of my company. Also explained I had travelled to UAE twice for work training and also to Ghana, Cameroon and Chad. And I also was returned back to Nigeria.

-at the end, I did a summary of my expecting expense for 1year including return ticket to Nigeria. Then I did a summary of how much I had in my account to show that I have enough money.

I attached to my SOP , my CV, bachelor degree certificate and, IELTS result, birth cert, old passport showing visa stamps to those countries I mentioned, UAE visas I got both times I travelled, training certificates I got from the training in UAE.

Thanks to all that share their experiences here. I also hope my experience helps.

Please I need answers, do you guys this I can still make Jan intake?

Hello Gurus and oracles in the house, Please I need guidance.

I am a 30 year old finance graduate (2:1) and i am just about to start my Canadian applications. After graduation, I followed my passion which is teaching and set up a primary school with my sister. As a result of the change in profession, I had to get a pgd in Education administration. Now, My sister is capable of managing the school alone and I have decided to seek better opportunities elsewhere (Canada). Now that I want to apply for masters degree, do I apply for msc. in education or should I go for Msc. in Finance.

Personally, I would prefer to study education because its my passion and and I enjoy it a lot. Also, applying for education would make sense to the VO whereas applying for Msc might just seem like i am not focused. Those who have spent some time in Canada should please advice, which Msc. is better in terms of Visa processing, job opportunities, securing admissions etc......

Hi guys, thanks for sharing your experience with others, reading all these really helped me.

I applied online but did my biometrics at London on 28th November and it got updated in the system on 29th November. I didn't need medical, is there any Nigeria here who applied from the UK? How long did yours take.
I have written London and Lagos office and got an automated response.

It is the institution you will look up if it offers PGWP eligible programs.

You can check the CIC link below. Input the province or territory and check if the university or college offers such.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html

Fanshawe is a fantastic school, very massive and they have amazing facilities. If you have the money, great place to be.

Your visa only serves as your entry in and out of Canada. It does not tell you the conditions of your permit while schooling.

When you travel and get to immigration, you will be issued a study permit. It is on this permit that you will see when to leave Canada after studies, details of how many hours you are allowed to work and places you are allowed to work (on/off campus).

I applied via paper route in Lodnon (July) and got a passport request after 5 weeks. Immediately I got my passport request, packed all my load and moved over to Lagos and submitted my passport for the visa stamp in Lagos.

It is the background check that takes time. Once it moves to eligibility review, you will get your response soon.

I have been following this thread since last year.
But I’m yet to apply, well I’m applying soon.
Can I add my wes evaluation and ielts general tho (I had a 6.5 score) to my application..?
I’m thinking about online route( any reservation?).
After my Nysc, I haven’t worked with anyone apart from getting my construction contract from friends and family(studied civil engineering) no formal documents backing this up. I don’t know how to go about the work experience issue.
