We once had strikers. Imagine that Ike Uche, Yakubu, Utaka, Martins, Osaze and Nsofor were in the Eagles at the same time. If we can even have one striker in the current Eagles with a form equal to any of these. undecided

We have Nsofor kind of player in Success. Save for Chievo, Nsofor is not that great

ChrisKels:

Good thing u said the Nigerian u know bkus the Nigerian we all know is the master of abandoned projects, and is as slow as fvck in executing projects. The sin city(owerri) for instance has good enough hotels to accommodate teams to use the Enyimba stadium buh which road would they ply to Aba abi na flight dem go board? Enugu has good roads buh which stadium would they use, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium? And u think these things could be taken care of in 5months by this same Nigeria we know?

Hmmm ndewo nwanne mmadu

Former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles skipper Kelechi Nwakali may be recalled by Premier League side Arsenal in the January transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

The former Super Eagles invitee was farmed out on loan to Portuguese club Porto for the entirety of the season and currently plays for their B team in the LigaPro.

Though Porto are hoping to keep the attacking midfielder until June 30, 2019, he believes he is good enough to play for the first team of a top European club.

And it is for that reason Nwakali is prepared to walk away from his deal with Porto before the close of the January transfer window though his situation has changed since the start of 2019, having started the last two matches played by Porto B in the league.

It is understood that Belgian and Spanish clubs are keeping tabs on the situation of the highly-rated youngster with a view to signing him on loan as Arsenal are not willing to sell him outright.

Kelechi Nwakali is tied into a deal with the Gunners until the summer of 2021.

One of my boys too that moved on to play for the SE. U Sabi say na mile2 boy him be? I used to meet him at Airforce base then when he was playing in Greece. This is another player I know that used his real age. For the records he graduated from secondary school (1 of those mile2 schools) in 1997. Same year he was part of the Golden Eaglets to the meridian Cup. Infact he was yet to write his WAEC then.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce have pulled out of a deal to sign Nigeria skipper John Obi Mikel in the January transfer window due to his excessive wage demands.

Fenerbahce are in the market for a midfielder and striker and have been linked with three key members of the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 World Cup in the shape of Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses and Mikel.

The leadership of the Istanbul club held transfer talks with representatives of Mikel but were unwilling to match his wage demands.

A couple of Major League Soccer clubs have courted Mikel in recent days but the gap between what the Chelsea legend is demanding and what they are offering him is significant.

The central midfielder will be 32 in April 2019 and is aiming for one last big pay day before hanging up his boots.

Mikel cancelled his contract with Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda in January, a year before the agreement between club and player was due to run out.

Fans of Spanish top division side Levante got a glimpse of what their summer acquisition Moses Simon can do with the performance of the Nigeria international in their 2-1 win over Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey.

Champions of the Copa Del Rey the past four years, Barcelona rested most of their top players including captain Lionel Messi for the first leg game played at the home ground of Levante.

Starting out on the left, the former Gent winger was a thorn in the flesh of Nelson Semedo with his quick turn, pace and skills as his team took a commanding 2-0 lead going into the half time break.

Simon picked up from where he left off in the second half as Barcelona battle to find a way back into the game, something they finally did by reducing the deficit thanks to a penalty goal scored by Philipe Countinho.

Barcelona will host Levante in the second leg of the cup tie with most of their regulars as the decision to play without them appear to have played a part in the defeat they suffered against the same team they defeated 5-0 in the league.

Such a talented Left back. I think his problems started from when he lost his Dad. It might just be a co-incidence but he just started battling one injury or the other. And that was when Taiye Taiwo just Rose from Lobi Stars and emerged 3rd best player at the WYC and he just moved straight into the SE left back.

Ify Udeze never recovered.
